We booked this hotel purely for its location between Mont Saint-Michel and the Loire Valley chateaux. We were surprised to find that Vitre is a town worth visiting in its own right. Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful with giving us information about local sights to see. The rooms were large with comfortable beds.

We all enjoyed our stay, the propietor was very helpfull and welcoming.The bathrooms were all lovely and clean and well equipt. Overall they were great even though we had elderly people with us and a dog! Nothing was too much trouble. Trafic was a little noisy but it was in a city so nothing more than you would expect!!

We stayed for one night.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring this delightful little town on foot. Reception also recommended the restaurant next door for an evening meal - we were not disappointed. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. We would certainly stay there again if in the area.

A very careing Manager who did everything to make our overnight stop as enjoyable as possible. Our low slung sportscars had a problem accessing the underground carpark.

The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Madame was very helpful giving ideas of what to do during my short stay in Vitre and where to eat. Excellent breakfast and the garage facility was very useful. The stairs are quite steep and if you have cases quite difficult.

Vitre is a gem with its castle and mediaeval town. Le Petit Bilot is a gem of a hotel to explore it from. Owner / manageress is great - helpful, knowledgeable, entertaining and has high standards. We hada wonderful 24 hours there.

Rooms are big and nicely furnished, breakfast is excellent, owner/manager of the hotel is helpful and caring. It turned out to be a much better hotel then its price suggested :); pity that we could stay only one night. We would defenetely recommend it anyone visiting Vitre.

Hostess (and petit chien) quite a character and very helpful. Hotel has good location on edge of historic Vitré. Room was spacious and modern shower was excellent. Breakfast was good with a choice of cereals, cold meat/cheese, breads/croissants, and plentiful supply of juice Room furnishings and decorations were drab. Room 10 was next to breakfast room and noisy (unless you wanted to be up at 6:45!!)
