Nothing in particular. It can't be helped that we were hungry and needed dinner early, but the hotel restaurant only opened at 7.30pm for dinner. This is quite common in France, and we didn't have much of a choice as we arrived on a Monday and again, ala French culture, many of the other restaurants around the hotel were closed.
This is a mid-range hotel with (warm) character, unlike the chain hotels. It is situated in what I think is a good suburb, away from Bordeaux city centre. Having your own means of transport is surely necessary.
Check-in was a breeze, everything worked and breakfast was good.
The boulangerie nearby, La Fournil, is a MUST to patronize.
