The room was clean and we had a nice, large room. We booked a triple room, but there were only 2 sets of towels and amenities. We called the reception to bring us the extra towel, and they asked us to come down to the reception to pick it up. There was no description in the room to show how to use wifi access. As the receptionist didn't speak English (not even try to understand... a receptionist asked me to speak French) it was a bit complicated to get the internet access.

Easy parking and a great location just on the edge of town, but only 10 minutes walk took you into the heart of Bordeaux. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. The receptionist was very helpful with directions on the best eating areas and the best historic sights. A nice room for a good rate. The windows also opened which gave some fresh air.

Location was near Marionplatz. I booked a room for four people. It was literally a room with four beds and barely any space to put our bags. The room was so tiny I felt claustrophobic. I had been traveling for two weeks renting all hotels for four people. This was the smallest and least comfortable. The desk employee was rather rude. I wanted to go into the lobby at night to use my computer. He had an attitude and seemed offput that I wanted to sit in the lobby.

Everything was ok, the bed was good but a bit short (for someone who is more than 185cm it would be too short). The staff is really nice, check in starts at 14h, but you can leave your bagage there and enjoy beautiful Bordeaux. Everything was ok for us.

Good value for money. Fair trip from main train station (2 trams) but easy enough from airport. Rooms are pretty standard, clean and comfortable. Decent stay but nothing outstanding. Staff were helpful

Excellent off-street parking above and at the rear of hotel. A good hotel for a night en-route to somewhere else! Found a suitable restaurant within a 10-min walk. Very difficult to navigate to in your car, as one end of the street has recently been closed. Nothing to attract downstairs, and nowhere to sit, except at breakfast time. No Hotel bar or kitchen. Bathroom facilities were pretty dated, but everything worked ok

There was easy access to public transportation both into the city and back out to the airport. So location was ideal. The hotel decor is outdated. Our room was well worn and did not seem prefectly clean. Room was very spartan.

Clean bed and bathroom was great. I thought the staff were friendly and helpful most of the time. This hotel is perfect for a few nights stay in Bordeaux. My room smelt like cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room and the location wasn't ideal for a young woman staying by herself but otherwise good.

Citotel le Chantry was a lovely hotel to stay in. It was spotlessly cleaned every day with fresh towels. The beds were comfortable and the room air conditioned. The staff were polite and tried their best to help where they could. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Bordeaux.

The hotel was quiet. The beds were good. The people at the front desk friendly and helpful. It was comfortable for our purpose. We were just passing through Bordeaux by train towards Paris. Hallways dark (light sensors turn on lights, but entering a hallway you step into darkness)

“Excellent center location and 50 meters far from the very efficient city tram. Supper service- this is a family managed hotel. A beautiful, clean, supper equipped large room (3 kinds of tables,a kitchenette, a good bed and blankets……) Everything is brand new. They have luxury suits, which you sometimes see in your dreams...” Abraham, Tel Aviv |
