Score from 1212 reviews Very good
Free secure parking and spacious if rather dated room.
No toast for breakfast!
large rooms, tasteful breakfast, close to the city centre, free parking
nothing to add
Very kind staff. Quiet location.
Clean room, helpful staff and fair pricing. 5 to 10 minutes walk to historic City and close to tram stop
bed size is to small for a double Illumination of the breakfast room is uncomfortable and remembers me of a surgery
Secure parking on-site near centre of city is a bonus. Rooms are a good size. It is a 15 minute walk into town centre. Good breakfast.
On site parking; close to City Centre. Exceptionally good value for money
position helpful staff quiet
reception closed for 3 hours at lunchtime parking - an extra cost and some in car park down the road
Excellent hotel close to city centre with secure car parking
Nothing to dislike
The boiled eggs for breakfast was a welcome change. Ask for a room at the back for a lovely view of rooftops and the church and a quieter night. Parking was secure, easy and undercover. The hotel was about 15 minutes stroll into town and provided good value for money.
The bedding could be updated.
clean and quiet [our room faced the back of the hotel] and free parking. The room was in good condition, i.e. not showing wear or seeming outdated or old.
nothing, other than it is ordinary and a moderate hike to the old city.
Wifi fell out often.
Good location for main shopping roads and other attractions Friendly and helpful staff Decent breakfast Reasonable price for big city
Room was facing the main road
Ladies in the daytime at the front desk are pretty good but the problem is the stuff in the night shift. Could not speak English. Even I was told that I can take a breakfast anytime I want as long as I tell them in advance, the night stuff did not prepare anything, could not speak/understand it at all and only reason I wanted to have my BF that early was the need to leave early but ended up wasting more than half an hour in the morning. That was the experience I must say just poor.
Elevator outside door noisey.
Close to city centre Basic accommodation but clean and quiet Gated parking on site Breakfast very good Daughter said WIFI best of all hotels we stayed
First impressions might seem basic but ticked every box
I guess the staff would have been more pleasant if I am not black. But a particular lady at the reception was quite helpful. Wish I know her name.
Staff were very helpful
WIFI was restricted
- we got a room with renovated bathroom, looking like a 5 star hotel bathroom - good location - helpful staff
- bed covers a little bit old school - no fridge
The hotel is located only a short walk away from the city centre, a big shopping mall and the tram stop. The area is nice and quiet. Our room was quite big, and the air condition and free wi-fi worked well.
The beds were a bit hard and the bedspreads looked a bit worn.
Free parking Customer service Location
Location was ok for city centre. Secure parking a definite bonus
Hotel was the most shabby of the hotels in this group we have stayed in. Definitely needs an upgrade. Bed was not as comfortable, and room at front was noisy. Chose not to have breakfast as seemed expensive for what it was.
All good. The receptionist Marie was extremely helpful re taxis, trams, tourist info. Comfy beds nice room good shower
I asked specifically if the breakfast was hot and Cold before paying €9.50 each but the only hot thing was a boiled egg ! Plus there were no plates just a basket on a tray very strange. I complained re the hot breakfast and one of the receptionists asked me what makes a hot breakfast and when I told her eggs ( she then butted in and said you had eggs ) bacon sausage mushroom tomatoes etc she said that their must have been a misunderstanding in the language !!! However she did return the cost of one breakfast after I insisted.
Good value for money - basic but clean and quiet. A short and easy walk into the centre of town. The receptionist was very helpful and car parking secure.
Value for money hotel
My bill was charged twice by mistake and after one week no refund still made on my credit card. Bit too far from center.
Easy to find and park up. The hotel had (free) secure parking. It was OK for our two night stop, but if returning we would look for somewhere more local to the old quarter.
It was a 15 to 20 minute walk to the start of the older sections of Bordeaux. The room was small with no facilities other than the bathroom and air-conditioning. The double bed was small.
