Excellent location for exploring. Lots of restaurants close by. Good for couples wanting to explore Paris. Rooms small but clean
Being a designer I chose this hotel because I wanted to experience living in the beauty of its exquisite modern French interiors. I was not disappointed. Both my daughter and I thought this was the most elegant hotel we stayed in during our holiday through Europe. We were also impressed by the staffs attention to the servicing our room. Some days making our bed twice a day as we had an afternoon nap.
The room was heated to a high temperature which meant we had to sleep with our our air conditioner on through the night in Winter.
The staff made us very welcome and were extremely friendly and helpful (thanks in particular to Front Office Manager, Julien). We loved the decor, high ceilings, chandeliers and furnishings in our suite and it was great to have a separate toilet and dressing area as we were a group of three (couple with adult daughter). We also loved the double sink/vanity area and bright lighting in the bathroom. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and we enjoyed a very good night's sleep. If you want to stay near the Champs Elysees, this charming hotel is in a perfect location.
The only issue we had was that the (old and chipped) bath didn't hold water so we had to use the shower instead - not a big problem except the quality of this appliance was also poor. Both shower and bath are in need of upgrading.
small rooms, poor breakfast, needs immediate renewing, bathroom door needs fixing.. This hotel needs to spend some money for renewing..
The location was great, walking distance to L'Avenue, Plaza Athenee, ChampsElysee, and the 2metros Franklin Roosevelt and George V.
The standard room was shockingly small so we had to pay extra to move up to a superior room.
small rooms, not comfortable, its not a 4 * hotel
A perfect location; very comfortable suite with a balcony; extremely clean and helpful staff. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant for the evening, there are plenty of local ones to choose from.
Very poor wifi; not a secure connection. Connection between bath/shower broken and not mended during our stay of four nights. Breakfast was expensive.
Two beds out together
The location couldn't be better.. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Felt the very was extremely small for the 3 of us compered to the Powers Hotel which gave my two girls and I twin room as requested. This was not the same at your hotel which I did request.
The location is excellent, being 5 min from the Champs Elysee. Lovely restaurants and shops are all very close by. The staff is very helpful and the complimentary Champagne on was very much appreciated! !
The furniture are a little tired. The room a smaller than expected.
Only the location
Very expensive hotel with unfriendly staffs. Would not recommend to non france.
We had the most wonderful comfortable bed in a fabulous room superior room. The staff were polite and helpful. Great location near the Metro and in amongst the lovely designer shops.
The standard double room was small and poky. Ok for one night. The bath plug didn't work. My two teenage boys stayed in it.
-Steps away from the Champs Elysees, high end shopping areas and metro station -Beautiful decor, the rooms were extremely clean and very pretty -Friendly & accommodating staff
-Wifi was very weak and sometimes only accessible from the hallways instead of the rooms. -Elevator is extremely tiny and can only take 4 people at a time
The staff were friendly and helpful! The rooms are spacious and clean! The bathroom was spotless and had everything we needed!
Staff were excellent, particularly Julian! Excellent location! Will be back!!
Not a lot!!
Friendly staff, great location, easy distance from Metro, plenty of places to eat nearby.
Excellent location, very friendly staff.
Some of the doors would not close due to damages and cracks on them.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
great location, lovely staff, would definitely use this hotel again, thank you.
My suite was very confortable for 3 persons. Location was great.
Inspite the fact that there was a 24hs room service when I tried to order I was told that there was no service that day. Wifi could be better.
Really lovely boutique style hotel, lovely room with great facilities. Staff were very helpful and gave us some good restaurant recommendations and happy to help with directions etc.. Minibar was well stocked and great attention to detail thought room. Lovely ambience.
Very minor but bath plug did not fit in properly so bath needed refilling during soak.
The location is very good. The hotel is very clean and well kept.
The breakfast was not great ,they did not keep the hot food topped up and had no knife to cut the bread. For 19 euros it was not worth the price. We went to a local cafe and for 12 euros got a much better breakfast with very friendly staff.
Excellent location and very kind staff at the Claridge made our time in Paris even more pleasant and for sure unforgettable. One of the best value for money ever!
Nothing worth to be mentioned
Some of the staff were very helpful and friendly, others were not.
The room smelled very stale and we had to keep the windows open even though it was freezing outside. The room was very small and the hotel was simply not worth the money we paid for it. Whilst the hotel is very central, the proximity to the champs élysées means that you pay an extortionate about for food and drinks in the surrounding areas. Next time we will stay near the Luxembourg Gardens.
the hotel was very French, very old and very luxurious. Breakfast was excellent. Balcony views magnificent
