My son was in CHU and this hotel was an excellent location for us. The hotel offers affordable, clean and friendly accommodation. No hesitation in recommending Hotel Clarine. |

Although quite a distance form the town centre it is close to efficient Tram and Bus stops. The location is commercial/industrial. The noise from other residents returning/leaving their rooms is disturbing, rooms are not very well sound insulated from the corridors. |

Great price. No frills. Excellent breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Reserved on line and thought I paid with a credit card. Then, on check out was told room was not paid for. When I handed the registration person my credit card, i was told the machine was broken and had to drive several miles down the street to get cash to pay for the stay. Also I received no receipt for the payment. |

It was great to see the nacre coast, easy access to the main roads, electric kettle in the bedroom with tea and coffee available, breakfast was great.Staff were very helpful and honest. Directions to get there were not so clear.Use a gps to get there or ask for directions in the MacDonals, luckily we speak great french. |

Family appartment great for older children. Location near ring road and the Buffalo Grill which was popular with the children. Pillows very hard. Restaurant closed except for breakfast for holiday period. |

The breakfast was superb: simple and low cost. A good start to the day. They stayed open for us as we are late risers after a long day sea crossing. |

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything was in order. The breakfast was ok, but if you come to eat a bit later (9u45), you risk to not have the possibility to choose what you eat, because everything is used up. The hotel staff was not very friendly, they didn't give us any explanation about the city nor did we receive a map or any additional info. They didn't speak English very well. They obviously could care less about us. |

Easy to find and close to major highways, attractions, and access roads to the Normandy beaches. Modest hotel modestly priced. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. We had two rooms for five people, and no one was happy with their bed. We do a lot of traveling in all over Western Europe and these beds rank worst in our experience. Small rooms and smaller breakfast. |

The fact that the bed linen and towels were changed every day was a real surprise in a two star hotel. Free wireless internet was also a boon. The location is a little disappointing as there is nothing to do and no where to walk locally. |

la formule buffet du restaurant, et la proximité des deux chambres louées, ainsi que l'amabilité du personnel je n'ai pas réussi à me connecter à internet, il ne devrai pas être vérrouillé, j'aurai probablement dû demander à l'accueil. |

Il s'agit d'un hotel très pratique lorsqu'on doit se rendre au CHU de Caen car il est juste à côté. Il ne s'agit bien évidemment pas d'un hôtel pour passer quelques jours en amoureux en Basse-Normandie. |
