Beautiful, very relaxing, great to wind down after a few days on the road. In it's own grounds and away from the city. Food was very good and with a nice wine what more do you need. Spa very good but book in advance, also kitchen very busy so if you want to eay early book also. Staff very nice and very helpful. This place is a gem

coffee maker in the room was not effective.The following is not a - At the moment it is difficult to get to because of major project adding a tram system into the city. This will improve city access considerably when done giving good link to center of Tours.

It was a quiet, relaxing, very pretty site that provided us exactly what we needed and, indeed, more than we needed. We arrived too late to try the restaurant but breakfast was quite reasonable

The staff, while very polite and helpful, could have smiled more and been more friendly.

The entrance inthe hotel they should put code in the gate give it to there client for entering in the evening , they should put small entrance for those who don't have car not whole gateis opening when you r entering ..

The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food in the hotel restaurant was superb.

Further from centre of town than I expected, although this would not stop me booking the hotel again.

The gym is not quite up to scratch and the spa bath was not working when we were there!

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the evening meal was superb. Breakfast could have been improved by a more comprehensive menu, but all in all it was a nice experience.

Having been in the restaurant business all my life , I could see that the breakfast offering was being presented with a firm eye on economy. There was a small notice on the buffet table advising that you could order a small selection of hot breakfast items, but no menu on the table , or was one offered by the wait person. Saying that, the " continental breakfast " available was quite good.

The double room is relatively small, seemingly of about 10 square meters, while it is indicated as 20 square meters on the website. The roof is tilted, n°28, not comfortable. The guest didn’t communicate with the hotel timely due to language barrier, nor take photos as evidence. Later, when communicating with the customer service of booking, one customer service specialist showed very bad attitude as she only recognized the hotel’s description in words and required the customer to show the evidence. Also, she expressed that it was the customer who herself shall be held responsible for not keeping the evidence, and the customer may comment whatever on the website.

A beautifully clean environment with buildings and gardens, which are extensive, in pristine condition. Quite pleasingly, from a social point of view,there are a number of privately owned residences for elderly people on the site - these are also in excellent condition. Car parking facilities were very adequate.

Normally, access to the city of Tours would be very convenient from this hotel. However,because the nearby bridge over the river (Pont Wilson) is closed to traffic, while a new city tramway system is being constructed, it was rather a long job to get into town by car, and a very long walk on foot. Apparently, the tramway work will be completed somewhere around 2014.

very good hotel,spacius room,nice and confortable, the hotel in is a big garden, very nice, the breakfeast is also very good, only pity is that many roods in the ciry Tours are under constructuion ,it coursed many trouble when you tour the city.

Ideal for travelling from uk to Portugal as a stop off point

The Chateau is a beautiful place lovely style and very comfortable, a warm welcome from the staff and lovely gardens. A really lovely place to stay for a few days. We would love to stay there again.

There was nothing we disliked.

Loved this hotel. This was our favorite hotel out of 7 that we stayed at in France. Our room had a separate shower stall besides a bathtub. It also had a mini kitchen to cook breakfast before we headed out for the day. And our laundry came back the next day with no problems.

The only snag we had was the detour we followed which was not bad after the first time we did it. (Thank goodness for our gps)

What I really like about this hotel the location in the middle of a small park, it was lovely to sit on a bench and read book surrounded by lots of green. Rooms were comfortable and very well equiped (cooker,pottery, coffee maker..), but design was a bit boring.

We stayed here on our journey to the Dordogne and enjoyed it so much, we booked again for the return trip. Rooms in the annex are large, modern and extremely comfortable - even to the point of having a small kitchenette. Big comfortable beds - and we do over 100 hotel nights a year and that's quite a rarity and really quiet, efficient air- conditioning. The hotel has a gifted chef - high quality food at quite sensible prices. This place is a gem.

The only minor gripe on our second stay was the dining room was unable to cope when almost all guests arrived at 9.45 on a Sunday morning for breakfast. But it is only a minor drawback. Apart from a group of Russians who collectively emailed, phoned and surfed the internet throughout dinner and breakfast. And for dinner they asked for the cheese course first!!!

FRiendly service. Comfortable bedroom and spacious public rooms. Good food.

Rather slow service in the restaurant in the evening

The room was really well desinged and totally spotless, more than made up for the fact we were in the modern wing as opposed to the Chateu main building. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon quiet and effective. The grounds/gardens are pretty, well managed and very quiet.

Breakfast was ok but not really worth 19 euros.
