staff were very efficient, those in the kitchen were lovely, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning the rooms twice a day. the common areas of the hotel eg. lobby, courtyard, dining room were just gorgeous, but i think the guest rooms are in need of renovation. the carpets are very old and dirty, the curtains are broken, different lengths and do not close. maybe they are in the process of slowly renovating the whole hotel. but the rooms do not match the hotel public appearance. regardless, the location is good, the staff are helpful and it is paris after all, so no one is expecting large spectacular rooms. breakfast was good in terms of range and quality, but quite expensive, but i guess you pay for the convenience and lovely setting.
the windows are not double glazed in the guest rooms so they are very noisy. the beds are comfortable but do not expect to get a good night sleep as the traffic and general street noise is quite loud. again, this is kind of to be expected given the location, but double glazing would fix that!
Location, staff, concierge
Not hot shower one evening during "rush hour" one night
Walking distance to many of the city's attractions, if needed the Metro is just across the road. Rooms overlooking the courtyard are very quiet and worth the extra money as Rue De Rivoli is a busy main road.
Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Mini bar was very expensive.
Location is great but it's expensive. Don't do B and B eat outside
Service was poor
Rooms are too small for the money we pay.
Nearly opposite the Louvre, the Orsay within walking distance and with Tuieries station near (Metro line 1) it is very convenient. While we didn't use it the pool looks good.
No kettle in room
Location was perfect and within walking distance to all the must see sites in Paris. Many restaurants in the immediate area. An all around great hotel, great location, great staff. Would definitely stay here again.
The location was amazing where you can get every thing you want in terms of food, souvenirs and city attractions. The metro is across the hotel. The staff was friendly helping and providing some recommendations to go for.
The bathroom and the shower are separated from each other on separate locations which doesn't have to be!!! The TV is not including some chanells in english!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the public areas were very appealing and our suite was spacious.
Overlooked the road which at times was noisy. Some work was being done which meant restaurant was not open.
Location, the swimming pool and the garden area with a bar.
A bit outdated room
Location was the best and by that I mean you couldn't be closer to downtown and a metro station BUT enjoy a quiet, relaxing evening in those quiet courtyard.
Breakfast should be included
This was our second visit and the location is excellent
The Fitness Centre needed attention. It was small so better use of space, a bench press, mirrors and attention to stocking towels etc. would have made it a more usable space.
Location. And a huge bed!
location and breakfast
rooms not reday at arrival time. my room was far away from children room.
A beautiful hotel in a great location near the louvre, most of the staff were brilliant, especially the check in staff, the concierge guys, the breakfast staff and especially the manager of the dining area. breakfast was great every morning and our room was good.
One of the bar staff (Anton I think was his name) was quite rude and made us feel quite uncomfortable on more than one occasion.
Good location to explore paris
&Quot;SPA" is in the name of the hotel. No treatments were available though because they don't only serve hotel guests. So it's all just booked up. Not a single treatment available. Swimming pool was out of order for my entire stay. Did not restock the minibar. This turned this expensive hotel into a small room with a small empty fridge.
This hotel was fantastic! They catered for ally needs and staff were very friendly!
After checking out and paying for the room I checked my bank balance and they had taken a further £530 out as a sort of deposit which I wasn't told about, that amount was more than the room cost so I didn't really understand but I was told it will be back in my bank within a few days, should really inform guests of this ridiculous fee!
The two Concierges Patrice?, Clement were very helpful, very professional. Bell Captains/Porters were also very polite and helpful
The first night, our bed was up some steep, narrow stairs. Very tight. Our friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis, had plumbing problems with their shower and I am the one who recommended your hotel.
The location was great -- perfect for people who want to walk to the great tourist sites in Paris. The staff was polite and helpful. We got several excellent recommendations for local restaurants. It is definitely worth avoiding the overpriced and mediocre fare on the Rue du Rivoli.
The beds were too hard for my taste and the lighting in the room was awful. Also, they need to update the carpet -- which was very dull and worn.
Excellent location, large rooms, friendly staff.
Spa was lovely. Location of hotel couldn't be better for exploring Paris
The restaurant was being refurbished so was out of use. Room decor was a little dated
Low ceilings, tight showers and toilets, TV, elevators, breakfast....
From the time you arrive you are treated as a special guest. TheStaff are very friendly and professional.Nothing is a trouble to them. The rooms are very clean and comfortable as are the beds. I stayed in both a standard room as well as a superior and the difference is that the standard is smaller but not miniscule.Of course the Superior has a few elegant extra touches. There is free Wi Fi throughout the hotel including all of the bedrooms.
The is no tea and coffee making facilities, however when I asked for an electric jug and cup and saucer they delivered it immediately.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms large and very clean. We were upgraded to a Jr. Suite with a large soaker tub, it was heaven. Thank you so much! The pool was beautiful.
Hallways were a bit worn and needed painting but being an old building, understandable. It did not change my overall opinion.
