good,kindly and helpful staff
Location was actually kind of strategic with nearby metro station and grocery store as well as fast food restaurant
The lift was so small that it can only fit 2 person Wifi needs to be improved
Tram stop right outside the hotel. Metro station 150m away. Good value bistros and boulangeries in the area. The convention centre is nearby, but this is not a tourist area. The rooms are very small. Like in any capital city, you are wise to pay for what's important to you. It is unrealistic to book this hotel at this price and expect something central, or bigger and roomy. It has the tiniest lift I have ever encountered- apparently being upgraded soon. The front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts- more choice than other Continental affairs.
The bathroom was musty and smelt of mould. It had an exhaust fan that operated when and if it felt like it! The bottom of the bathroom door was flaking from rot. €10 of bleach and exit mould and some elbow grease kept that all at bay during our stay. We would have rather not have had to do that. Also, the hotel charged my credit card the day after I booked, which was nearly a week before we checked in. So be warned.
Excellent value hotel. Staff are super friendly & helpful. Location is awesome. Walking distance to metro, bus, & tram. We were very impressed. If we go back to Paris we will stay there again for sure.
Location Staff can understand english and very friendly Rooms Bed
WiFi is reliable for business. Location excellent for the meeting venue and next to tram and metro. Easy access from the airport. Bathroom as 3*. New furniture. Staff very helpful and kind.
Across the road from the tram station.Very clean room. Affordable room rate.
Very small lift and shower.
Good location, walking distance from expo. Staff was nice and helpful
Very small room and small elevator
The lady at receiption - very very helpful
-clean rooms -close to attractions -great breakfast -didnt have room preference (2 triple) but changed to 3 double for free! -metro very close by
-staff was ok, only stayed a night but night staff was nicer than early morning
Modern hotelrooms Very friendly staff Nice breakfast for a reasonable prize parking is just around the corner in an underground parking place again at a reasonable prize
The elevator is small and you have to carry your luggage up a star of about 3 to 4 steps but..... this was the only didn't like we could find so.....
The room's were surprisingly good we especially loved the bathrooms, I loved having a bath available. The beds were really comfortable and clean. The price was really good for the rooms we booked as well as the parking available we didn't have to worry about the car. All in all it was a great experience.
There was a strange smell in the room and the location was a little far however, using the metro meant it wasn't much of a problem with Port de Vanves station close by. The only other problem was the people in the rooms above us being ridiculously loud to the point where it was slightly difficult to sleep.
The good part of the location is that the tram metro stops right in front of the hotel.
It is not really central to anything. The metro closed the first night we were there and so we had to take a cab back.
1-Very small rooms 2- No escalator for some floors. 3- Paid parking. 4- No dedicated parking for Hotel 5- Staff was just average as seems to sit for just time pass.
the rooms were clean. Friendly staffs. metro station was just 7-8 minutes walking.
The street besides the hotel was noisy. the rooms were old! no facility inside the room. no air conditioner and no minibar.
Very near metro station and carrotfort.
Wifi connection is not good enough.
the location is great, you can walk to Porte de Versailles it takes you about 10 minutes, there is a grocery shop and a bakery just next to the hotel. Nice breakfast with yogurts, fruit and fresh bread and croissants.
I had a room on the ground floor going to street so no nice view and also I couldn't air the room enough as I was bit afraid of leaving the window open for too long (in the evenings the area seemed a bit unsecure. At night it was getting therefore quite hot.
Bed quality was good. The double bed was big enough for two adults and the mattress was neither too soft nor hard, so that you can take a good sleep. We stayed in the ground floor room just next to the breakfast cafe, where at first I was worried if it would be noisy. During the night and the morning, it was not noisy at all.
Just in front of our room there was a shelf of daily cleaning stuff. It was completely visible to customers, which is not so nice to see.
The staff at Hotel Clarisse was very helpful with directions and suggestions on everything from finding a bookstore to getting to the airport. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding. We had a great view that overlooked the main street, markets, pastry shops and restaurants close by, an easy walk to the metro and a tram stop is right across from the hotel. The breakfast was above average with offerings of meats, cheeses, yogurt, pastries, cereal, juices, fruit, coffee and tea. I would recommend a stay at Hotel Clarisse.
Staff was very helpful, breakfast was ok,my boys always found something that intrest them. The cleaning lady is great, we had fresh towels and our room cleaned every day, she even put things away for us which was greatly appreciated being a single father with 2 boys. There are 2 supermarkets within 50 meters of the hotel a takeaway right outside the door and at least 3 restaurants that we saw in close proximity. Parking is also available at a reasonable price for Paris. The best part of our experiance in Hotel Clarisse was the tram right outside the door which gave us immediate access to the Metro. We bought 3 day Paris Passes which meant we could go anywhere anytime. I have been to Paris many times but never with the kids and I have never been able to see as much of Paris in so little time and at our own pace.
The single bed in our room, the mattress had seen better day's I'm afraid, it tendered to lean to one side which meant I would find myself almost falling off sometime during the night.
I stayed at this hotel for the second time which means that I liked. Very friendly service. Rooms clean. The breakfast has something for everyone. Good location and it's important that the hotel has its own parking space. By choosing once again to Paris, staying also in Clarisse
Good solution of parking!
On the fifth flor there was no wi-fi conection. Also, the rooms on the fift flor are too smal!
Good hotel, with necessary nabry services. Qualified personnel, small, but good number, a bathroom, all that is necessary for stay in Paris and at an exhibition in expocenter. In number we only slept as arrived on an exhibition. Arrangement very convenient. nearby a tram stop, through 1 stop - expocenter and the subway. Price very decent. Thanks to the hotel personnel. It was pleasant to us.
Positive: good location, in-house garage, food OK (new coffee machine was awful).
Too much perfumed spray in the room rendered the room unusuable for the first half hour (windows need to be opened first). Personnel was not able to handle changes to the billing address right away.
Easy car parking facilities, friendly staff, nice breakfast
Its a long way up to the 5th floor...
