Location, beds, bathroom
There was a bit of a damp patch in one of the rooms we had
goos location in typical Parisien neighbourhood , friendly staff, lovely dining room with excellent breakfast .
The location was ok and it did have a small lift to take luggage up to apartment.
We booked a room for 4 and the room was so small that we could not even move. It was basically beds with suitcases up against the walls and we had to hop over beds and cases to even use the bathroom or leave the room!
location is ok - 5min walk from metro station and 15~20min walk from train station (paris nord) bathroom is small but clean it has the world's smallest elevator that's worth a visit
except for bathroom, all other facilities in the room are old. there were questionable stains on the blankets... staff weren't so friendly or helpful
It's a good location with nice restaurants and bakeries nearby, walking distance to pigalle, sacre coeur, galleries lafayettes
After sleeping one night in this hotel my boyfriend was full of insect bites at the bodyparts that had contact with his pillow. We showed the lady at the reception what happened and at least we could change the room but we caught at least 3 small insects, one while biting. We bought anti insect spray for the second night in the new room. If you have allergy dont stay at this hotel, otherwise bring anti insect spray...
We liked the location, near Opera and the typical Parisien neighbourhood
The tiny elevator
access to metro easy and you can reach all important sites from hotel. Bathroom refurbished, nice and clean.
Noisy, no a/c or fan in room and cant keep the door open during night to cool off due to continous street noise. Old furniture and the room carpets had bad smell. Very small lift only fits 1 person with luggage.
A old hotel, just ok.
Bed was comfortable.
Very busy street in the am. Not enough light in hallway. Scarry at night when walking to room.
Bathroom was clean. Generally good standard of cleanliness. I mentioned some minor dislikes but overall for the price I have no serious complaints. Staff were friendly. Good location.
The decor - carpet, bed spread - but that is subjective. Dark corridor to my room 10 - maybe lightbulb not working?
There was a bad smell in the lift during our stay. The bed wasn't very comfortable. And no air con
Location is central and in a perfect spot for a weekend away in Paris. Sacré Cœur is a 15 minute walk with access to multiple Metro lines. We were lucky enough to have a recently refurbished room. While small, I felt it was good value for money but we didn't really spend much time in the room to be honest. Staff were attentive and helpful.
The place was undergoing construction. It wasn't as bad as people have suggested but nonetheless it was something I felt needed to be mentioned. Some of the rooms are being updated so I can only think that other(s) may have felt disappointed if they got one of those rooms. The noise from the street is a tad annoying but it didn't spoil our time there. The garbage truck in the morning taking the bottles was the highlight though! :) Would have been beneficial to have air conditioning but its Paris. If you want to stay locked up in a room, best you venture to a different city!
Lovely dining room with excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Very welcoming. Will recommend and use again myself.A really excellent family run hotel
The staircase was not very clean but I am sure this will improve when all the interior decoration is complete.
Compare to price it is a very good place, it s near to metro and center of city
It can be more clean
Location very good, nice neighborhood and staff
Facilities rather old, but no complaints here. Internet pretty difficult to connect in the evening
free wi fi ,close to moulin rouge
very noisy, a fan would have been great
LOCATION AND PRICE
Construction going on and no Air conditioning.
We were there on May 28 and the receptionist was a brown guy who was so rude and mean. He should not be in the Reception Area as he is the mirror of your hotel. I was borrowing a kettle to make a hot water and he asked for my room no. It was my first day there and I was not sure of my rm no and I said either 42 or 402. He said go up again and checked your rm no. What??? can't he not check it in his computer??? Is that good customer service?
great location - close to a few metro lines, bakeries, shops, bageterie, post,.. clean towels every day, earlier check-in is no problem (even without any advance notification), elevator (but guite small - only for suitcase and one slim person :-)), helpful staff, that is able to communicate in English, possibility to leave luggages after check-out, payment is required by the end of stay - neither upfront fee nor bloking
small room and bathroom (but expected 11m2), no wardrobe - only table with drawers and hangers, only 2 electric plugs from 4 worked, problematic wifi connection (worked only on 1 from 3 devices)
The location is great for transport and cafes, and little independant shops. The bathroom was small to perfectly formed, recently refurbished.
The noise level in our room from the staircase was terrible. The bed was like sleeping on a wet piece of toast; soft in the middle and hard at the edges. Basically we didnt sleep.
Room was light. When windows open fresh air. Looked onto street, fun to watch street scene, but quiet with windows closed. Refrigerator nice amenity.
Tile edge between bath room and room was a toe-stubber. Windows would have to be open on a hot night and traffic would be loud.
Fridge and quiet room with big window opening to vacant courtyard
Room was dark. Mold in courtyard . Stairway do not seem clean
great staff, great location...
