Convenient Good price Nice staff
Easy access from the Sceaux railway station. Very quaint town, quiet area, lovely varietyof shops
The location. The secure underground car park.
Only one tiny bar of soap. Nylon bedspread. Dull breakfast area.
Staff very friendly, parking (public) very good, nice ambience. I will come back. As i have lot of experience in hotel business, keep the staff this way, they are the heart of this hotel.
Wifi in room not working, but works in lobby. Air condition more noisy (especially the one from next room) then efficient. I did like the fact that my room had a balcony, would be nice to be able to book it in advance with balcony, to be shure to have it.
Located in quaint town of Sceaux, close grocery store, bakeries, shopping, bars, close to rail, local population versus tourists
Did not find anything to dislike. On this survey there was no category for a grandmother/granddaughter traveling group.
the Colbert is the perfect place to stay bravo
Convenient hotel for reasonable price, in the pleasant village of Sceaux
Slightly sound-penetrating walls, you can control activities of your neighbours..
The location is perfect for visiting the city of Sceaux and the sorrounding. The room was big, comfortable and clean. Staff very kind.
There was no heating system in the room and in the bathroom, but a portable heater. The climate was good but you have to carry the heater with you when you go to the bathroom. Some probelm with the wifi (the signal was not always good in the room)
The staff were extremely helpful
Breakfast although value for money is very mundane
There wasn't any drink in the refrigerator. I wanted a bottle of water after bath time.
I love that this hotel is extremely well situated, with big comfortable rooms that include roomy ensuite bathrooms. It's a 2 minutes walk away from the RER, children playground, and the Sceaux domain and parc. Plus there are many restaurants and shops around, so it's an ideal place to unwind after a busy day in Paris.
The breakfast is definitely on the poor side. One glass of orange juice, 1 croissant, 1 bread roll, butter, a bit of jam, a cup of your choice of hot drink and that's it! For the price (not included), you'd expect them to do better. Plus we were traveling with our 20 months old daughter and the first day we had to ask 3 times for a bed for her (we had requested one when booking but someone forgot to write it down) and for the first breakfast the receptionist, who was alone in the hotel, couldn't find a high chair for her. There were further incidents that pointed to poor management and organization, and although the staff was really friendly, we could feel that the problem came directly from the top. Basically, they need to start feeling interested in running their hotel properly! Shame that this great place is going to pieces...
・Staff ・Close to the park and shopping street.
There's no garbage box in the room. Refrigerator didn't work. A little bit far from the station.
