Although the room was small, it was very well appointed and the lighting was excellent. That may seem a strange comment but, in or experience, hotel lighting is usually awful. The breakfast was excellent. |

Large room with excellent cupboard space, enlarging mirror in bathroom and seperate wc, excellent breakfast buffet, tastefully decorated bfst area although we received a large bedroom it lacked of cosiness |

An attractive old building very well placed in centre of Colmar, slightly over-modernised perhaps, but very clean, welcoming and peaceful The receptionist had an unfortunate and rather patronising manner. |

This is a very attractively decorated hotel and our room was really lovely and quiet with everything you could require. The location was excellent, only steps from the canals, shops and restaurants. The shower was over the bath and did not have a screen or curtain so every time you used it the room was flooded. This was very inconvenient. |

The staff at the hotel was a skeleton crew. Hardly anyone there. Service was terrible. The reserved parking is a joke. Spaces for two cars in a barn. Terrible! Was conveinent for downtown Colmar. Hard to find. No restaurant. |

Staff responded immediatley to request to change room (first one had bad odor- stale smoke) Staff gave is misinformation on two occasions, simple things that they should know about their city- ie where to exchange currency (sent us to wrong place) |

The location is great.... the hotel is very clean and the room is well presented. No airconditioning and whe you have a shower the water leaks all over the bathroom floor... very bad design! |

We reserved two comparable rooms for two couples, and the staff attempted to put one couple in a room that was not comparable -- at the back up stairs with no elevator and one small window into the courtyard. Only when we came down to ask whether another room was available were we offered a comparable room -- The staff said at the time that t they had not offered it initially because that room had twin beds (put together!) Perhas they hoped we would be satisfied with the lesser room, so that they could leave the comparable room for another more demanding guest. Having said this, they were perfectly amenable to us moving to the comparable room once we asked, and were very pleasant about it. |

Welcoming, helpful, smiling receptionist Modern, clean,spacious room at 140 euros, nice blinds, parking free in front of the hotel Bidet in the bathroom but toilet in a separate room with no facility to wash hands Breakfast a bit croweded, no room to place your plate on a table while choosing food from buffet, design coffee cups difficult to handle |

Great location in the old part of the town, which is picturesque and full of character. Several good restaurants nearby. Lovely, quiet room with air-conditioning and good bathroom. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Parking was a little tricky when we arrived (late afternoon) but was easier in the evening when we were able to get a space on the street very near the hotel. |

The hotel is beautifully decorated and well above 3 stars for a superior room. They should put their beautiful goldfish in a bigger aquarium. Also there should be a more organised and safer service for leaving suitcases for safeguard (tickets etc). |

The room had a fridge and coffee making facilities but no milk. The shower was very powerful and the bathroom spacious. Room 2 had a very noisy air conditioning unit which kept us awake at night. |

Excellent room - very unusual. Bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely courtyard area. Very close to the pedestrian 'Petite Venise'. The parking on the roadside by the hotel was free, but it was difficult to find a place. When we parked in front of the hotel, the receptionist told us that the space had to be left free for emergency services, even though there were no signs or markings. In the morning, a local car was parked there. |

The room was large. The furnishings were very nice. The location excellent. Rapid service. Due to poor design the shower left the bathroom soaked. |
