Location of the hotel is great, it is right at the starting point of the city center which is very convenient for tourists. The staff was helpful and spoke English without any problem. Room was very nicely designed, with the taste of the old times (16th century building) and modern comfort. Breakfast was quite good as well, costs 12 euros per person per day but Im sure that you can find cheaper food in one of the street caffes. There is only street parking available, one side of the street is for free, the opposite side is paid. But it is not too expensive and Sunday is free.

The hotel is in the old part of town, and the historic centre is within a short walk. Although the building is old it has been sympathetically modernised. The shower was excellent. On arrival the receptionist instantly spotted that two of our group had walking difficulties, and she reallocated more suitable rooms with step-free access. Other staff were also helpful. Difficult to get correct room temperature without opening windows that faced onto road. Not a problem for us, but might be relevant for others.

Great Customer service and a really fabulous location, we were very lucky to enjoy views of the courtyard and didn't have any issues with noise as mentioned by other guests on this site, the hotel definitely exceeds it's three star rating and would recommend to all, there is a restaurant nearby next door to a group of pubs, adjacent to a pub called the incorruptibles, also a must if you enjoy local cuisine and top service.

We stayed in the #41 Suite Moore (I believe we were upgraded which was a nice surprise) for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Colmar is a lovely location this time of year and the Christmas Markets are just beautiful. As with everything now, the room per night rate is too expensive. We booked knowing that Colmar is high priced at this time of year but it still is quite expensive.

On the booking.com site has introduced this hotel, like a stylish well renovated, wellkept renewed, refurbished hotel. Small size relatively, not one of the big international chains, so uniqe. In the last moment we had to modify our booking and they were very helpful with it.

In Italy this would be a four-star hotel, in France it is three. The developers have done a fantastic job of combining the very old structure with modern, contemporary design. As is often the case, however, the managers will have to pay increasing attention to maintenance and cleanliness. Amenities were a bit uneven. Wifi was charged, which is becoming less common, but dog owners note: no charge!

Le Colombier was a quaint little hotel in the "little Venice" part of town. The staff was friendly, and rooms clean & updated. They had the rooms all ready with baby crib and extra cot when we arrived. And took good care of us. All rooms were smoking rooms and we don't smoke. You couldn't always tell, just when the heating was running.

beautiful, great location, comfortable, would definitely recommend We needed help with directions and reservations and internet and while the staff was accommodating they were a bit impatient. We're used to friendlier service. No full length mirror in our room floor was cold, need a rug hair dryer cord too short to use, very odd

Friendly, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious, imaginatively decorated and well appointed . The hotel is perfectly situated at one end of the recommended medieaval city walk. The breakfast, which was included in our tarriff, was excellent and plentiful and the seating very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - in fact one of them kindly recommended local restaurants to us and then booked them for us when we had made our choice The only thing I would change if I were to stay there again is that I would ask for a room overlooking the very pretty courtyard. The noise of vehicles on the cobbled street outside is rather loud if the windows are open. On the other hand there is no noise at all from the road with windows closed and there is air conditioning.

This hotel is very well located to visit Colmar. It is comfortable, the per- sonnel is very pleasant, a few good restaurants close by. Altogether, I ca only recommend this hotel to someone wanting to visit the old Colmar which is beautiful. PS : we took the cruise on the canal : short but nice. We also took the little train ride :avoid it, it is very uncomfortable and noisy. Needs to be reviewed by the local government.
