Very good location, charming room.
Our room was a duplex with a shower room in upstaires, and a separate toilet downstairs. If there was a sink in downstairs, it'd have been parfect.
Two old houses have been cleverly converted into a modern and stylish hotel. The room was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.Highly recommend
Location and style and staff
The room was very clean and comfortable.
The table in the breakfast was not stable. I dropped the sugar bin and coffee cup twice. WiFi connection was not good and very slow.
The hotel was neat, clean, and the location was perfect for walking into the city. The cost of the room was a little pricey, but then, the Christmas markets were open which may have impacted cost.
Parking was a bit of a problem, but then, it is Europe!
We loved the location of the hotel. It was easy to find by car and in a charming area of Colmar. Polite and obliging staff.
Downstairs room with windows onto courtyard and outside door onto back lane.
Loved the location and character. Excellent renovations and great bathrooms.
Jostling for a free parking place. The receptionist when we arrived was unpleasant.
The hotel is in a very convenient location next to the "Petite Venise", close to the Quartier des Tanneurs and to the centre. Everything is within walking distance. The room was nicely decorated, modern and clean. Luxury toiletries by nuxe in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet had variety, but not vast. I think that one can find a lot of breakfast options in the city, with better value for money. It was quiet, despite the fact that it was on the ground floor with a door opening directly to the street.
We were in the studio 52, which is not in the main building, but on a side street behind it. On one hand this was good, because we didn't have any neighbors, who could be loud, but we could hear everything from the street (only a pedestrian way), unless we closed the door between the room and the entrance hall. Which would be fine, if the whole studio didn't have a very intense smell of freshly painted wood, which was almost unbearable at first. I think it will go away, maybe we were the first to book the room after they had painted it.
Very friendly reception at the desk, very helpful - very nice and lavish breakfast buffet - good coffee - local procucts
We found the lightning poor both at the entrance, where you need light to see your suitcase, and specially in the room so you can sit and read in a book.
I loved the window into the courtyard. Very romantic! Breakfasts were excellent. Nice big room with a NEspresso maker. Great bathroom, really several rooms. Very nice staff.
Not much room to unpack--I really like to see my clothes allat once, so that I can get the right mix. Also, a group of people, very noisy people, came into the courtyard at 11 at night, and woke us up. Very noisy folks.
the part where we slept was actualy adapted the old alsacian building in modern way - the result was really excellent
breakfast area could be nicer - after sleeping in so beautiful room I would expect something in similar climate, but I wouldn't consider it as big problem I couldn't get wifi working
The classic mixed with the modern decor was a great combination. Extremely beautiful room with large windows opening onto the picturesque square below. Nice bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Staff was friendly & location was beyond perfect. Great wifi.
No complaints whatsoever.
Location is good.
Not easy to find a parking area.
Loved the location, we had the Loft room which was just so spacious, well appointed, roof windows we could open - everything was just great!!
Having to leave at the end of our stay.
Location Breakfast Room layout
Low availability and professional skills of the recepcionist in arrival (12th Oct, night) Difficult acess to the rooms with the luggage, due to high stairs/ no elevators Inefficient room soudproofing
Location and very good breakfast.
Room & Furnishing very high standard. Staff very helpful.Great location.
The quality of the finish and linen is better than the stars suggest, however it is very cute inside (by that read small). Good location, and the quality of the sheers and towels really did make it feel like home. We didn't opt in for breakfast as it was only a short walk to some I felt Alsatian cafes.
The shower was wedged into a small alcove, and meant my 6ft tall husband struggled to use it.
The location, the accommodation and the very friendly service. The hotel is immaculately clean and although in a beautiful period building, the interior is very stylish and modern. Suite 53 was very comfortable.
Good area for one night
.Rooms at Le Colombier, while small and somewhat sparsely appointed, are clean, modern and comfortable as are the bath facilities. The location is excellent, being adjacent to Petite Venice. The staff is quietly efficient and helpful. I was a bit concerned about this booking as room rates are so low at Le Colombier, I felt that there may be something undesirable about the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the truth is that this quite a nice little hotel that offers a great deal for very reasonable rates.
Due to its situation in the old part of Colmar, the hotel does not offer parking facilities, however free public parking is available in front of the hotel. We had to wait a bit for a parking space to open up but overall this a minor inconvenience considering the property's excellent location.
room was comfortable & clean breakfast good
Road outside- cobbles made for poor sleep
