Comfort Hotel Beaune    

The location was great, very near the town centre of Beaune (just a 7-minute drive) and the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and spoke wonderful English.

The room and hallways were old, dirty and smelled awful. The bathroom in our room in particular was very dirty.

An electric kettle in the room. Wow! What a bonus for a french hotel. Staff were friendly and room was clean.

Pillows and bed were uncomfortable, but then again, some people may find it comfortable.

The location is brilliant - just off the motorway but really very quite. Food good but a bit pricy. Breakfast great.

The Hotel is on the edge of town near an industrial zone which would suit many; but the touristy area is a drive away, and that is what we came to Beaune for. Excellent parking and the restarant is first class which meant we didn't need to drive to the main area for dinner. Beds and other aspects of the room were excellent

Confortable overnight stop en route for Calais from s of France. Pleasant grounds and ample parking.

Swimming pool was closed, probably a bit early for the end of the season?

no aircon in room so had to open window, hotel is major truck route so with window open noise all night as trucks have to stop at the lights right outside the hotel. No lift to rooms.

I missed that the hotel did not have air condition. If I had noticed, I would not have booked. A typical standard low budget type but not so low price. The reason for booking at the hotel was primarily the distance to Veuve Ambal and it's Créments.

Staff. Correct but not friendly. Restaurant with prices for a good restaurant with good service. Here the staff was inadequate and not skilled. Food and wine good but to highly priced for the place. Their Internet provider required mails to be sent through their server and the staff could not give an outgoing smtp address to use. They blamed my firewall for not being able to send mails. A sad experience in a wounderful area.

It was good to have a pool and car parking. Good value for money with bed and breakfast which was appreciated

The room had an extra bunk bed above the double bed. Classic head banging potential! We hadn't booked a third bed! The room didn't smell fresh though it was clean.

Room not perfectly cleaned

Location was very convenient and price was OK. A small swimming pool was very attractive for the children. The open bar/restaurant was very agreeable.

Main missing items: elevator and air conditioning. Staff did not offer to take the luggage to the rooms, so we had some difficulty to climb the two floors to arrive to our rooms In the summer lack of air conditioning could be a problem: if you open the window many insects come in There was a ventilator but not very effective.

No problems reccommending this hotel. Comfortable, clean, quiet with plenty of outside parking.

Very dated and cramped rooms, but the nice pool made up for it for the kids in the morning. Night staff were miserable. It was a mid journey stop-off but think we will choose somewhere else next time.

Nice clean room close to the route de soleil, ideal for a stop on the way to the south.

No video surveillance on the parking

Was very disappointed that after having specified three months ago the need for gluton free food as a requirement , there was absolutely nothing that the hotel could serve for a meal in the evening nor for breakfast the next morning. Was told that they had not confirmed that they were going to provide it so I should not have expected it. At expressing my disappointment the staff became very rude and dismissive. They did however deduct a small amount from the bill due to not being able to eat breakfast. It was the unfriendly way we were treated that made our stay unsatisfactory. The cleaning girls were very friendly however maybe they should be in reception.

Nothing,except the manager gave me two cups of coffee at 6 as i could not sleep due to poor mattress.
