Great location - easy walking access to shopping area and restaurants, very close to motorway connection. Good sleep quality - shutters to block out outside noise. Good breakfast buffet, reasonably priced.

On-site restaurant didn't start dinner until 7pm but luckily other restaurants nearby.

We had a nice clean reasonably sized room and bed.

Good value for money for a one night stop over, breaking a long journey from the alps back to uk. Our family room was two interconnecting rooms (not charged as two rooms though, family rate cheaper than two seperates) which meant we had two bathrooms - very useful! Good restaurant downstairs, convenient to "fall into" after long journey and reasonably priced with ok choices. Breakfast plentiful, buffet style, continental only

No tea/coffee making fac in room although we only stayed one night so didn't bother us. No english tea at breakfast (all herbal types,not even liptons yellow label/english breakfast type which you usually find in France) so take your own teabags!!

We were greeted excellently, advised where we could obtain dinner as restaurant was closed and as we were leaving early breakfast was arranged for us. A really good service in all.

Compared with Comfort Hotel Dijon Sud the Comfort Macon was very tired and dated. The hotel although not tatty or dirty was badly in need of refurbishment to bring it up to modern standards. The concrete room walls and rather cramped space even in a quadruple room was poor. There was no lift even to 4th floor with a long stairwell with those irritating timed lights that always go off midway. Also was quite a way out of Macon, not a huge problem as long as you know it is when booking.

situated in the middle of retail park. tray(tea/coffee making facilities)expected but not supplied even when asked for twice. Ugly small room. Didn't bother to eat at hotel.wiFi only worked in evening not in morning.

Difficult to find in the dark without a Sat-Nav

We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful but the rooms were as little lacking. Ta and coffee facilities need to be provided in all rooms. Twin share room lacked tea and coffee facilities, were too small and beds not comfortable. Food quality, variety, value and service was excellent

No Aircon! 35 degrees and we cooked! Unfreindly when I asked for a fan.

Location was quite convenient, breakfast was OK.

No air con, it was not possible to sleep. There was a strange smell in the corridor, and bathroom was not really clean. When we tried to take a shower, funny insects came out of the shower. They close the hotel for the night and our key didn't help us to get it (luckily one of us stayed inside). Only one outlet in the room for 4 people, wifi is available only in the lobby. Bottom line, for this money it's not worth it.

Was close to the motorway

Ropey food, can't believe that others rated it. No lift, reception staff looked confused by everything we asked. Sloping bed. Not much better than a formule 1. Definitely wouldn't stay there again

Aging but ok for a one night stay on our way to Spain. The hotel is located a few hundred metres from the motorway, an advantage which can become an inconvenient when the temperature rises above 35 and you have to leave the windows open. For about 40 € a night per room I would say quality/price ratio is overall acceptable.

Basic, but clean accommodation, and a great buffet breakfast. Friendly staff

Awful wifi connection. It was free but the range did not reach our rooms, so we had to go to reception or sit on the main stairs. Grumpy guy who embarrassed my wife when she spilled coffee in the machine as she didn't know how to use it.

Easy to access by car and park. Located next to retail park (big stores like Carrefour). Breakfast was OK (for France - not on the same level as in Scandinavia though).

No air condition. Noisy room because of the railway nearby. Quite far from the city center.
