Comfort Hotel CDG Le Mesnil Amelot  

My brother was trapped in Paris after a flight mess up. We got him a a room at the Comfort Inn CDG because it was the only close hotel with availability. We soon found out why they were the only one not sold out. We needed to be in contact with him to give him critical flight information for the next day but it was impossible. Whoever answered the phone was rude beyond belief and kept hanging up on us. The two times we did get him to put us through he gave us the wrong room. I finally had to call booking.com and had them call and they finally got through. This caused us unbelievable stress and a sleepless night as we were not sure that our brother really got the information for the flight until he actually arrived in Boston. If your only other choice is a cardboard box on the street, you might want to consider this den of jerks.

Good location for the night before a flight out of cdg Airport. Reliable shuttle.

Room was a good value for the money, but next time I would upgrade to a hotel with nicer rooms.

The food at the restaurant was mediocre. The staff at the front desk were rude in both the eveing and morning shifts. The bathroom was amazingly small, but not a surprise in Europe.

Close to cdg; free shuttle; restaurant; clean and reasonable price;

Restaurant had no option other than buffet dinner (and only after 7 or 7:30) - with 10 Euro level being only cold, odd, salads (oh, and pickled sardines and cream cheese stuffed raw ham); and other levels were 17 Euro and 19 Euro 'menus' (hot meal meat option only salmon). After long travel days many people just want a bowl of soup, or simple sandwich, or toast - and when they get there.

Good location near cdg when you need to stay in Paris because of next day connecting flight

The hotel shuttle interval 35 min is too large.

It was reasonable close to cdg Airport and transport links to Paris

They advertise a free shuttle bus every 35 minutes in reality it was every 50 minutes

I liked the location of the hotel vis a vis the airport and the punctuality of the shuttle bus. The Price was fair and people at the desk were super helpfull.

The room is not as spacious as similar hotels in the us and the bathroom is not even adequate to take a shower. Similar hotels in the us are far superior than the comfort hotel in Paris. A continental breakfeast at similar hotels is always free which is not the case your hotel. The least is to offer free coffee like most of the hotels worldwide. I also got ripped off by telecom and I will suggest that people should be aware when making calls using their credit card from the hotel lobby.I Placed 3 calls ( 2 of them did not even connect)and was charged $20.00 for each call. 2 minutes of phone use cost me $60.00 and that is a shame. Do not use your credit card when making phone calls in france.

book this hotel only if you have a connecting flight - otherway tooooooo faraway from city center

Clean room - nice decor - easy check in and out - good food and service.

Internet was difficult to connect to and required too much information input before connecting. Also connection kept failing. Staff was not very knowledgeable about how to fix this problem.

Excellent choice for travellers which have to sleep over night at Paris cdg airport for reasonable cost.

Free shuttle bus is nice (especially because taxi drivers don't want to go to the hotel), but 35 min interval is too long is you have just few hours to sleep.

It was utilitarian, relatively clean, unpretentious, cheap. I had read the bad reviews and was prepared for the worst, but it was adequate for a quick overnight stay between flights. I didn't eat there or see anything outside of the hotel. The airport shuttle came on schedule.
