Decent array of complimentary bathroom products & tea/coffee. Walkable distance (~45min to Louvre) into the centre or Metro station within ~5min walk.
They were renovating when we stayed (no prior warning) which meant no air con in the room (in August!). Windows couldn't be opened as handles had been removed so very poor nights sleep. In morning asked staff if they could open the window, the lady on reception phoned room service but when we got back the window hadn't been opened. Electrical sockets in the room loose. Car park difficult to find (but plenty of spaces).
One young lady on the staff was very helpful giving us lots of information about where to go and how to get there in Paris...
Room without air conditioning or even the ability to open the window which felt like suffocation. A Barman who could barely pull himself away from watching the Bar TV to make an over priced cup of coffee and when he did he made it clear that we had pulled him away from doing something more important. The hotel was dirty and grubby and had seen better days (Possibly the 1950's). When we booked we did so because the hotel advertised free parking for which we were charged 33 euro. The wifi was hardly ever available even in the communal areas and when it was available it was so slow it took over 15 minutes to open the booking.com site so claims that this hotel has wifi are misleading at best.
My husband had his wallet stolen in Paris and the front desk staff were very helpful while we were making calls to cancel the cards etc.
The area seemed a little unsafe due to all the construction sites near by.
+ close to metro station + own underground parking garage + nice staff + easy accessible with car
Some construction work is ongoing nearby.
- Bathrooms kept having problems eg. Blocked drains of bath tubs - Poor service when asking for assistance eg. A friend lost power in her room and nothing was done about it until she made a scene. - Room key card frequently would not work. * It's under construction - expect noise
good price for a hotel so close to the center of Paris, we had a view of tour Eiffel from our room, clean rooms, close to the subway and RER train
we ware there in July, we had broken air conditioning in the room and the window was impossible to open (broken). In the last day we ware nearly suffocated in the room
airco did not work - while 35 C. windows could not open. wifi only works on and off no personell in bar even on saturday evening personell at breakfast more busy with themselves than with guests
The staff were friendly
No air condition No WiFi in the room bad location
Color of the room was old fashioned and it was also time to replace the bed
Air conditioning did not work (not told about that at checkin), beds were so low they were practically lying on the floor, in a not so nice part of town.
Even if u stay not far from the main Paris places,u can see a lot from your window : Basilique du Sacré Cœur,Montparnasse and Eiffel Tower.
When u enter the room we wish to feel well fresh air. First step to make it-open the window. It was impossible, because was no hantle. Than u try to turn the condotioner on. It doesnt work also. So only 1 way to make a comfortable atmosphere-switch the fan =)
No airco (although promised) Except for the bed, the hotel is dirty. It could be much better if maintained.
good reception staff
air codition not working for almost 2 months and it will not be ready till sept. and the windows are sealed by the hotel because of suicide attempts. very noisy did not sleep till 3am very expensive internet and not working properly expensive breakfast nothing spescial. in total : very bad.
The hotel is a bit old, and the wifi service was a restriction for us. Even paying (expensive!) the internet was very low quality.
parking space in garage for the car
the hotel did not release the deposit to my bank account for weeks after having paid for the room in cash on the spot. no answer on phone, no answer on mail.
The metro is nearby.
The hotel is old, dark, our room had dirty walls. The toilet didn't flush properly, the windows were fully sealed (not only did you have to ASK for the window handle at the reception, but even when we got it and tried to open it we came to realize that the window was screwed on to the frame). To add to this, the air conditioner didn't function properly, which made for absolutely no fresh air in the room, we were boiling hot most of the time. We asked at the reception if someone could come fix it for us, and were told that a technician was gonna come 'tomorrow'. You can probably guess whether anybody did anything about it... There were construction works happening early every morning, which gave off a horrible burning smell. The choice of breakfast was very poor. Overall, the hotel is way too expensive for the condition it's in.
Nice hotel, however they are renovating. Depends on Yourself if you find this anoying. We got a room for 66.50 which is good value for money. Especially Since they have a private car park which was included in the price! We Also looked at an F1 hotel where you need to Pay for parking your car. It comes down to the same price. In that case I would recommand this hotel Since it has better a nicer room, own shower etc Good exces to the train/metro RER stops at this station and drives in 20 min into town with stops at the eifeltower and Notre Dam Single ticket is 1.70 euro And the hotel is very easy to reach from the highway.
Bathroom was outdated but if your standards are not to high you can take a good shower They were renovating so there was cardboard in the hallway floor
Very comfortable bed Excellent parking facilities Good breakfast
The bed was clean . But the carpet was very dirty Need to change the whole room Very noise from out side . No sound proof in the walls you can hear every thing from the corridors
decent clean rooms, good break fast, facilities but at a cost,
no free wifi, 600 mt from closest metro station, all facilities are charged, expensive airport transfer facility
hotel wasnt really nice barely clean and only had wifi in bar ...d only good thing it wasd cheapest hotel around
Many thanks for Julia from reception. Such a nice, friendly and helpful person.
Bad Location. Bad Breakfast, Windows do not open. A lot of noise from the street.
Heater in our room doesnt work!
the quality of free wifi is very poor due to low speed.
