Solid position. Metro is close.
No wifi in room. Small room.
Comfort Close to Metro
Room is too small and very limited space for showing. No WIFI(internet) in the room Location is not good. Many Blacks are standing outside the hotel and glancing at you. So terrify.
It chose the hotel just because it was near the place where my meetings were taking place. The staff (Africans) is friendly.
If you get a room at the 6th floor, you must take stairs from the 5th floor ! And these stairs are outdoor but covered. It means you feel the external temperature. The room is small. No Kleenex in it. You must use toilet roll to blow your noise. No mini-bar, you must go down to drink some of the few things you can find. You cannot make calls from the room. You must go down to the reception. I am sure that you can get a better hotel for the same price. The hotel is mainly in a quarter where immigrants from Africa live. It was not a problem to me. But some people would prefer to meet French people.
Good situation Clean and quite
Small bedroom and bathroom Breakfeast room too small
Close to gare du nord and underground stations. Reasonably priced.
Weak and intermittent WiFi internet connection. Expensive breakfast 12 euro. Dark room with little direct daylight
Location was close to a metro.
Wasting money in discomfort!
Clean rooms and good breakfast if a little cramped
The area has been taken over by some fairly unfriendly people and it ruined our experience of Paris even though we have been there several times. I would certainly not stay near Gare de L,est again.
Close proximity to trains and within walking distance to main tourist area. Very helpful receptionist.
run down and graffiti area around the hotel
Refurbished quit rooms. Good breakfast.
Location close to railwaystaion but in not inspiring neigbourhood.
Hotel was clean.. free wifi downstairs
The hotel was very clean but tiny, on our way to the hotel we were warned by the taxi driver of the area we were in and he begged us to be careful as we were in a mafia run area which straight away was concerning, as we got out of out taxi they were groups of African men, prostitutes all over the street and mattresses on the floor were couples and babies were sleeping,we were afraid to be out on a night, my advice is stay away from this area and hotel The rooms were tiny no airconditioning and our room window was next to a huge metal staircase which was concering so we couldn't open our window on a night .
Great location, small but clean room, OK shower, good breakfast.
Hotel could do with some maintenance, shower worked, but door was broken, bedroom window difficult to close.
It's close to important Train Stations
The room is tiny and noisy. The manager is rude and don't care about what guest have to say. My room also had a broken window. Air conditioning didn't work either.
A cool area for young couples to explore, would highly recommend checking the street behind the hotel as it's very bohemian and has some cool bars and restaurants. The location and cleanliness saves this hotel as it doesn't do anything special and is missing some vital parts of a hotel. The breakfast is good though.
Exceptionally poor wifi, do not come here if you need to use wifi. Also the rooms do not have safes and so I would recommend padlocking your valuables. Fridges/minibars are also missing thus a bottle of champagne can't be bought, chilled and drunk later. Not recommended for families as it can be a bit of a dodgy area at night. The rooms are also exceptionally small for families.
Average hotel, depends how much you have to pay for it, but good location !
nothing "really bad", just not as nice as on the pictures.
Good helpful staff.
The size of the shower cabin is the smallest imaginable.
This is a diverse neighborhood in Paris in a convenient location, on three metro lines and near some good bus lines. The hotel staff are very friendly and competent, and are good at accommodating many different nationalities. Very nice storage space in the bathroom, and better lighting than usual in the bedroom. Cleaning staff were excellent -- service was impeccable.
Rooms are tiny (which is normal for Paris hotels -- but I had a "chambre double" and was startled by how small it was; I can't imagine what a "chambre simple" would have been like). WiFi is unpredictable. Breakfast space is small and crowded, and I found the breakfast disappointing for the price. Closet space virtually nonexistent. (I was here for an extended stay, so this was a serious drawback -- for a few nights, it would not be a major issue.)
Cleanliness, comfortable bed and cooperative staff
No coffee/ tea facility in the room No ironing facility in the room 1English speaking TV channel
The people are friendly, place is well equipped and clean.
- The hotel is located close to Gare du Nord, so easy to get there from Eurostar. - Close to metro stations and 20 minute walk to the Louvre - Overall good value for money
- The street the hotel is located seemed a bit dodgy, not a place where you want to walk around, especially at night - Could not connect neither of our phones to the Wi-Fi
Staff, confortable bed.
Location, elevator was broken, you can see inside other rooms and hear everything (and they you), no air conditioner (so, in summer you have to let your windown open and let everybody see you, or you die in the sauna of your room. I wish I have paid a little bit more and stayed in other hotel.
Clean , good location 7 min walking to la Gare de L'Est and Metro.
The room was really great. The free WiFi was always accessible.
The location was a bit hard to find.
Very hot room in summer temps with no a/c. Loud party all night long in next door building.
