My Hotel In France Montmartre57, Rue Des Abbesses, 18. Sacré-Cœur - Montmartre, 75018 Paris (Show map) Pleasant, Score from 366 reviews“The location is very good. only two minutes to metro. Very close to Sacré Cour, Montmarte, Pigalle, you can go there on foot very easily. Breakfast is clasiccal French style; croisant and marmelade and the hotel serves a lunch box per day, per person which is so useful. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice.”

The hotel was very well located, in a charming area (Montmartre) and very close to the metro station. In the hotel street we could find many stores, cafes and restaurants. The breakfast was good, but with limited options. The room is very tiny, so much that simple activities, such as sitting on the desk or using the toilet, became complicated!

The hotel is just down the street from Sacre Coeur, the Place de Tertre, and the Moulin Rouge. The Sacre Coeur cathedral appears to be the highest point in Paris, so it's easy to catch the sunrise and sunsets. Along the street of the hotel, it seems like every third shop was a bistro or cafe -- great for people-watching over a coffee, especially during the weekend when a bustling street market atmosphere prevails. The room was clean and the heating worked :)

This hotel is cosy and located in the city center/quite good neighborhood. Full of shops around the hotel and close to Metro stop. Walking distance to Montmartre and very reasonable price. The room is not big, but very clean. And surprising thing is that breakfast is included (4types of bread, milk, orange juice, coffee, and tea). If you ask, they give you lunch box (sandwitch, fruit, and water) as well. Hotels in Paris are quite expensive, but this hotel is quite good buy if it's taken into account that such breakfast service and location. I will return to this hotel surely. No elevator, so if you are very old or very heavy luggage, avoid the upper floors.

Location was excellent and staff were very friendly. Would be ok for a short stay but very basic. Defo budget/backpacker style accom The rooms were very dirty and bed spreads were all stained.

Location is on a street with lots of pedestrian activity, but not much traffic, so feels very central - but no noise in my room (2nd floor, facing street). Friendly welcome at reception. A nice touch is the free lunch bag (packet of sandwiches, fruit, and a drink) provided; it is quite basic, but thoughtful and perfectly adequate for getting through the day! When I checked in (late on a Friday evening) I found that there was no remote control for the tv, and this particular model has no back-up buttons. Unfortunately no replacement was available so late, and I had to do without. However, in Paris one does not normally visit in order to watch television, and it didn't matter!

The hotel staff were very welcoming upon our arrival and provided us with the complimentary bottles of water, which was a nice gesture. Our room was on the second floor and we were aware that there wasn't a lift, so this was a relief. The location is amazing and is very near everything in Montmartre that one would want to do. If our rooms were hoovered each day, there were a couple of days when it wasn't done quite as well as it could have been. The room size was a bit small, but taking into consideration that this is an old building, it wasn't too much of a big deal. The shower door only opened about halfway, so anyone who may be a bit larger would not have fitted in.

Location and staff were polite. Never ever eat breakfast because they will serve you a bread with full of flies on it. Just drink coffee in the hotel or juice don't eat anything, food is lot of germs in it and you will get sick easily.

The staff was very helpful and tried to fix all our needs and requests as good as they could. The lunchbox is a nice complement to the stay but not very large so it doesn't feed your stomach for a whole day of sightseeing. The neighborhood is also very friendly and nice with alot of restaurants, shops and bakeries just around the corner. Metro station is really close aswell so getting around town was very easy. I would definately stay at My Hotel Montmartre again :) The hotel breakfast was not very large. One piece of bread and a cup of coffee or juice was it. The hotel also doesn't have an elevator! Walking 104 steps up to the topfloor wasn't fun 3 times a day. We also got one towel to few each day even though we asked for an extra since there was two of us but still didn't get one.

Hotel is located in a very animated area. Rue des Abesses is full of restaurants and bars, it's halfway from Moulin Rouge to the top of Montmartre, close to metro lines 2, 12, and not far from 13. The hotel is pleasant, clean, however tiny. The nicest experience is having breakfast in the hotel's cave. My room was really small, but well- equipped, and moreover, there is Wi-Fi everywhere in the building. Forget about leaving a car in this area - no place.

The location is superb, if you wish to stay in bustling Montmartre. The staff is ever so friendly and helpful. I stayed at the hotel with my 13 year old daughter and since this was her first trip to Paris, I asked the hotel in an email if there was any possibility for a room with a view. We got the smallest but cosiest little attic room with a picture perfect view over the roof tops of Paris and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. My daughter gasped for air when she saw it. The receptionist even asked afterwards what she thought of the view, which I though was very attentive and considerate. We were often a little late for breakfast, but they always let us in with a smile and the complementary lunch sandwich, fruit and bottle of water is a lovely touch. Sorry to say, our bed was the worst I've ever slept in. Like a canyon, sloping in towards the middle so you end up sleeping on top of each other, or holding on to the brim of the bed for dear life, so as not to roll in to the middle and be squashed or squash the other person. The lock on the door was broken, so you couldn't double lock it from the inside turning the knob.

Some if the staff are really frendly. The location is great for visiting Paris city centre or Montmartre. It's convenient to see a show in Moulin Rouge as well. If you don't have much budget for accommodation, this one is a good choice for you. The smell of ground floor and basement(the restaurant) was damp. And actually the lunch box, which is a box of sandwich, isn't provided everyday. However I feel it's alright for me.

It was very close to the Metro station. Restaurants and food shops just next door: deli, bakery, butcher's and ethnic specialities shops. 5mns walk from the Sacre Coeur and Place du Tertre and if one feels more adventurous Pigalle red light district 5mn walk in the opposite direction. The breakfast room in the former cellars (not unusual for Paris) was a little cramped which must have been difficult for the lovely lady staff who looked after us replenishing juice and coffee etc.and somewhat embarrassing for larger people (whom we saw) who had difficulty squeezing into a seat.

The staff is great, very friendly and aimable. They speak English very good. The location is excellent, 5min from Blanche or Anvers stations, 10min from Monmartre. There are cheap cafes and department stores (Carrefour - one of the cheapest French department stores, just 10min from hotel). The rooms are very simple, nice and comfortable. There is Wi-fi, TV, a fridge and a kettle in the kitchen. You have breakfast and you can ask for lunch, it's quite nourishing (sandwich, apples à croquer, a bottle of water). It's worth staying there, and it doesn't cost very much, and it's very comfortable. We stayed there for 10 days, and we had to change our room, but the staff was very polite while asking us about this. The view from the 2nd room wasn't so good, but the shower room was better. In general these twin rooms are equal. The cleanliness of the room sometimes leaves much to be desired. And if you stay for 10 days, croissants for breakfast begin to annoy you.

The location was good. I wanted somewhere in the heart of Montmartre near to where my son is living. This was the closest I could get and the hotel is handy to many things. The General Manager Manuela was very pleasant and apologetic for all the difficulties I experienced. The room I finally ended up in gave me glimpses of Sacre Coeur, Moulin de la gallette and across part of Paris. That was nice. The room allocation was poor. I specifically booked a room with a balcony (as advertised) for one week. On the second day, in spite of being in and out of the hotel a few times during the day, when I returned at 10.30pm there was a note on my door (5th floor) to say that I had to move rooms because repairs were to be carried out the following day. The alternative room which they said was as nice, wasn't - no balcony, no fan, no shower curtain, dark and dingy. I insisted on a room facing the street with a balcony and was provided with one. This was fine except that there was no fan (one was later provided). Also the magnetic key card entry failed on more than one occasion requiring more trips up and down the 104 stairs to my 6th floor room. I got plenty of exercise!
