Friendly hotel staff, very helpful, fast wifi, location very good.
Great place to base yourself as metro is close by for all those tourist hotspots. 15min walk from Gard de Nord.
Staff very helpful and spoke English extremely well.
This has been one of my favourite hotels in Paris for over a year, while I have been commuting weekly. This last visit was my first for a few months as the hotel was undergoing renovations. The results were worth the wait. Te Comfort St. Pierre is now clearly the best hotel in Paris in this price range. Excellent, attractive room. Very comfortable bed, great flexible lighting, blackout curtains, great bathroom/shower (Grohe fittings!). Reliable, easy connect WiFi. The staff are friendly and helpful, and all speak excellent English. There's a pretty good bar/brasserie across the road and some good restaurants in the vicinity. It's about a 3 minute walk from the Metro Barbes-Rochechouart. I am staying here again this week, and probably the next few weeks.
Nothing to complain about really. Perhaps a fridge would be nice, but really, I have no issue. I guess the storage space may be limited for a couple, but for me it's fine.
Brand new refurnished room altough it's funny to access the toilet via a cupboard door (best option there is in Paris given the little space) and have a glass.wall between shower and bedroom
Breakfast buns were uneatable, quality of croissants was poor. Better have breakfast in an Algerian bakery nearby.
All the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was neatly decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was new. The location was great - just a short walk from Sacré Coeur and close to the metro. The staff helped me in advance to find a parking garage, since there is no parking available directly from the hotel.
I booked an upgrade - and got a room without air conditioning or WIFI. The room was renovated and actually stilled smelled like paint. I realize they were still renovating, but that was pretty unacceptable. The staff was unwilling to offer any compromise. "Oh, the air conditioning isn't hooked up" and "Yeah, our WIFI is very bad" were the only explanations, and they didn't offer any sort of accomodation for the inconvenience. I didn't even try to haggle, because it was obvious how very little the receptionist cared. Furthermore, Google Hotel Ads led me to believe that there was paid parking available, but when I booked on Booking.com there was no longer parking - which I only realized after I had a non-refundable room.
we appreciated the clean room, the polite personnel from reception, the fact that our room was newly equipped
thin walls, noisy hallway and cleaning ladies, fixed check-in at 2pm
We liked Montmartre and the buzz and interesting neighbourhood.
The street was dirty and noisy. Our wardrobe didn't have a door. There should have at least been a fan in the room.
The room has been recently redecorated and is very modern, stylish, quiet and clean. The hotel is in a good location with Metro stations, shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly, polite and spoke excellent English.
The location itself is excellent, close to two subway stations, also you have the train station (Gare du Nord) in a walking distance but the surroundings are not very safe, at least that was my impression.
The room they gave me (39) was recently painted so the smell of fresh ink was strong.
The location. The friendly employees.
The stink of mold in the bathroom. Smelly old shower curtain, small shower, sink and shower did not drain well. When windows were open, unbearable noise from street.
Nice views and people around. Great bat across the street
Poor wifi in rooms. Only good in lobby. Staff was a little rude but it was only one guy. No conditioner for hair
Nice and polite staff, clean room and new furnitures, great wifi connection.
Location was pathetic. Rooms were not upto d mark!!
It' not going to blow your mind but great value for money for the location. Only 10 minutes to walk to the top of the Pigal.
We had room with windows which side of the street, so the big noise
Good location, nice view. French breakfast ;) Large bed. Good price for this location.
Some troubles with shower (not very clean, hot water could be switch to cold itself) or warmness in the room.
Close to metro and center of Paris. No kettle in room, when ask receptionist for hot water, he helped to boil a jug of water from pantry downstair for me, appreciate.
Neighbourhood seems very unsafe at night..
It was close to the Bus station and the Metro station..
Actually nothing other than the location.. The area surrounding is even though busy, a little too shady. You really have to be careful walking around in the night. The room needs petite people only! Only kids can fit into that shower. Room has a stench, lights were not working and there is just one charging point! Breakfast outside is cheaper than in the hotel. They dont live up to the tag of 'Comfort Hotel' group. Having stayed in Comfort chain of hotels before, it was very very disappointing.
It was good to be back. Friendly, efficient staff, comfortable beds, usually excellent WiFi. I also like the area. It's perhaps a little forbidding to single women, though it's perfectly safe, but there are some excellent eating and drinking places nearby, a huge supermarket 50 metres away and it's about 100 metres to the Metro. There are usually Velibs in the mornings and traffic noise is negligible.
Like most Paris hotels in this price range the maintenance seems to have been done by a man with a hammer. Showers usually spray water in all directions. It's not a big deal though.
This hotel is great value for money. The location is excellent, near two metro stations, and some great dining, and a short walk from Montmartre.
The room was clean, the bed very good. Gaspar, the gent at the reception was perfect, very friendly and with the good willingness to give us information for Paris.
The room was small
1 man on reception, who helped us to book a taxi.
everything, terrible rooms, awful location, never stay again in this hotel and in this district
Hotel was really clean, facilities were good, staff were nice and it was quiet even though my room was facing the streets.
Hotel isn't located in the safest dristrict, so if you're a young female traveller like me, you might feel a bit unsafe walking to the metro, or just around in general.
