The hotel was in a good location, with easy access to all of the main attractions and districts of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Exactly what we required for a city break.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. I had requested a room for 3 and upon arrival we were "upgraded" to a studio apartment which was great. Only downside was it was up four flights of spiral stairs. Breakfast was more than adequate. It is a 2 min walk to the metro and a supermarket, fabulous bakery and plenty restaurants close by. It took us less than 10 min to walk to Gare du nord. Fantastic stay. No elevator to the studio apartment on the 4th floor

Helpful staff, hotel near to Gare du Nord, good price. All in all, good value for money. The apartments for 3+ people are not served by lifts.

We chose this hotel because it was only 5-10min walk to Gare de Nord. There are many restaurants and shops on the way to the station which was convenient also. The room was very dirty on arrival and was not really cleaned properly during our stay. Some of the staff were a bit less than keen to help out when we had simple requests, like a cup of hot water.

It was a rather basic and no-frills hotel, but the location was pretty good. We chose it so that we could walk to Gare du Nord station (10 mins walk) to catch a train to Brussels. It's near a super market, some cafes/restaurants, and about 3 minutes walk to the Poissonniere metro station. It's approximately 15 - 20 mins walk to the Sacre Coeur area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The comfort and cleanliness of the hotel is barely ok. This was our second stay on this trip and the second room was better than the first. It at least seemed clean and somewhat cared for, but still felt really tired. For the price it makes you wonder what the really cheap places are like.

This is a budget hotel in a convenient location for those who arrives to Paris via Eurostar. 10 minutes far from Gare du Nord and 2 minutes far from Poissoniere tube station, it is easy to walk around Paris from there. Clean, recently redecorated, breakfast included, wi-fi, in a friendly neighborhood with a plenty of restaurant options. No lift to my room. I had to climb the stairs with my family-size luggage.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast seemed adequate. The room was very basic. Carpets were stained and there was only a plastic chair in the bedroom. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom and when I did have a bath the plug was broken and the water would not drain away. All in all and despite the staff being good, I feel this hotel is completely overpriced and as I was making the booking choice on price I expected a lot more for my money. Very disappointing.

Location of La fayette is ideal being only 10 min walk to the Gare Du Nord and only a minute from the nearest Metro.Reception staff are excellent who spoke english and spanish and were very helpful in any queries you had.The rooms are basic but clean and would have no qualms about staying here again. I thought for the standard of room it was rather over-priced but I suppose it is Paris!

Huge room with a double bed and a single bed, dining table, kitchen including fridge, stove and microwave. Room for a cot, and the bathroom was huge as well, with plentiful hot water and great water pressure. Very quiet. Air-conditioned. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no lift. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with insufficient staff to replenish things as they ran out, so it was a bit of a lottery as to what was left.

The hotel did not allot us the rooms as were specified in the booking confirmation. Poor service. Utensils in the studio were dirty and we had to clean them ourselves. Horrible smell filled up the room once the Air Conditioner was turned on. Avoidable experience. The hotel did not allot us the rooms as were specified in the booking confirmation. Poor service. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The facilities were brand new and everything was in very good condition. The metro station was also very close. If you can stand sleeping in a matchbox, this hotel is for you.

Good location from Metro but more expect for the rate we paid. Plain room but comfort. Very small wardrobe and not enough for 2 adults to keep our clothes. Breakfast is ok if you got up early but around 8.30 am some are out of the table, only breads for you. Very nice staffs to clear all of my problems, rooms, tours and others.
