The hotel offers very good quality for a reasonable price. It is located in a rather quiet street, but just a few steps from the closest supermarket and metro station (Poissoniere). Walkable distance from Gare du Nord and Sacre Coeur. Pleasant staff, pleasant entrance area with free Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines. Plus the rooms are quite colourful. Ideal for young people who want to stay close to Montmartre/metro and don't want to spend too much money.

Just minor issues: The shower curtain was too short, so we had to dry the bathroom floor after each shower with a towel. And there was no Wi-Fi in the room, just at the reception.

Wi fi didnt work. No slippers no bath robe no safe in the room no cooked breakfast.

The recepcionist is really friendly and lovely. It is a quite good hotel considering the prices.

Incredibly disgusting staff, arrogant and ofensive. I will never visit this hotel again or any of my collegues. Rooms are very small, broken shower, dirty room. Do not stay There, there are other variants on the area at better price.

The lady on reception when we arrived was really lovely and friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor and faced the street. It was lovely to look out and see all the apartments across the road with plants and bird cages hanging from all the windows. Breakfast was very filling and tasty.

only that an armchair would have been useful in the room.

Very friendly staff! Breakfast is ready by 6-30! The room (studio) is very clean and comfortable: fullHD-TV, microwave, AC, nice furnitures. The hotel is located in 70 meters from the nearest metro staion (Poisonniere).

We did not have a cattle in the room...

Good location just off Rue de Lafayette. Therefore also a quiet location.

The lights in room 405 acted a bit funny. The showercurtain was dirty at the bottom and didnt go all the way round the showerbottom which leads to a wet bathroomfloor. Minor details

The hotel has a perfect location to get around Paris. It is situated near the Poissoniere metro station (just south of the Gare de Nord) which suited us well. The hotel has a 24-hour brightly lit front desk and the staff were very friendly and helpful; rooms clean and functional; buffet breakfast good. We recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Only one negative thing to say really: the double room was on the small side with not too much wardrobe space and no drawer space.

We booked a triple room. When we arrived, front desk told us we could have a bigger room but it is on the 4th floor without a lift. We had to climbed up ! We refused becos we had 3 luggages. When our room was available, we found it was actually a room meant for a double and they were going to put a roll away bed in it! The room was tuck at the end of a corridor which requires us to lug the luggage down 3 steps. The room smelled mouldy. The bath area is super small with a showe r curtain that sticks to you each time you shower. The carpet outside the bath room is moist which propbably explained why the room smelled mushy. We requested for a change later in the afternoon after lunch but was rejected. Overall, we felt cheated.

The staff, especially Nora and Violenne were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent, rooms were a bit small. But on par I suppose with other options in Paris. Pretty satisfactory in all.

Could offer a better spread at breakfast, and could use a bellboy.

The room was tiny (although I think that would probably be true of most places in Paris within our budget) - the photos of the room made it look alot bigger than it actually was.

Close to Gare du Nord, which if you are taking the Eurostar to paris is great. 10 minute walk to the hotel. the hotel was also one block from the Poissoniere metro station and was seven short stops (and I mean "short" like 30 seconds between two stations) to the Louvre. Also 7 stops to the #1 line which runs to the Arc de Triomphe and does all the main stops along or near the Seine River for sightseeeing in Paris. Staff was very friendly and spoke english. Also was right next to a bakery where we would get pain au chocolat and fresh baguettes every morning. Safe neighborhood. Also they let us leave our luggage at the hotel after check out because our train wasnt until later in the afternoon.

The studio with a kitchenette we booked was on the 4th floor with no elevator and the staircase was narrow and winding so carrying suitcases upstairs was a real pain. The only nice part about the kitchenette was the refrigerator. the frying pan, strainer and two glasses of wine they provided were old and grimy so dont expect to cook a meal. oh and nothing quite like having to drink a 2002 haut medoc out of plastic cups. the place was relatively clean, there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings and the window shades when closed at night looked like they hadnt been dusted in years.

The location was good, close to the train station, metro, buses and with a grocery store and restaurants close by. The beds were comfortable and we had a nice sized suite with a kitchenette, en suite with bath and shower, and there was air conditioning.

The staff was friendly but sometimes did not seem familiar with services in the area. The air conditioning was quite noisy and we had to turn it off sometimes when it would make a high pitched squealing noise. Our suite could have been cleaner, in that the floor had dust bunnies under the stools, but the linens and bathroom were clean. Our suite was three flights up a narrow, winding staircase and there was no lift to that part of the hotel. This would normally not have been a big problem as we did not have excessive luggage, but I had sprained my ankle on the walk from the train to the hotel so it was extremely difficult for me to access.

The Comfor Hotel Paris La Fayette is in a great location close to many bars and restaraunts and less a couple of minutes walk to the closest metro station which links to all the major attractions.

The rooms weren't very big and weren't in the best condition but they were comfortable for a short stay. The air conditioning in my room worked well but in my families room theirs didn't work so I would check that yours works upon arrival, especially if its due to be hot.

Really very friendly and nice. Excellent for the money in central Paris. I have tried many around Gare du Nord. Will be bookmarking this one!
