Hôtel Sovereign Saint Ouen  

Nothing and had I not given my card details to booking .com and would have had to pay for non arrival I would have left.

The hotel does not live up to its advertisement, It is in need of complete refurbishment and clean internally and externally.The only thing clean in the room were the seets and towels we came away itching.No hair dryer and tv not working. It is not near the flea markets which was the reason of choice or the metro. The staff were rude and when I told them we could not access the car park as it was blocked the reply was sh**t, Their card machine did not work and I was asked to leave my full card detais ,signature and security code.I Refused as did another guest.I Had to use the only cash I had in order to leave .It was a distressing experience from start to finish.

From previous stay knew it to be ideal location for leaving car while 'doing' Paris then heading off again to Normandy etc. It's a bit of a walk to and from the nearest Metro station and not suitable if that would be a problem or a worry say, late at night. It's 8 floors high and views over the Seine alongside are nice. 'Not 'luxury' but perfectly adequate and staff were all friendly and helpful.

Sorry, but there is no positive aspect to mention.

Directions provided on website are creating the impression hotel is easy to reach and close to metro station, while I had trouble picking the right way and felt unsecure walking through the industrial/ deserted area at night. Room was not clean/ heavily stained carpet. Very smelly bathroom. Breakfast room was not clean. Absolutely unacceptable breakfast (yesterday's bread, croissants not edible, only cornflakes as cereals, no fruit), Far too expensive for the quality (one third would have been adequate). The worst experience I have had in years of very frequent travelling all over Europe!

La gentillesse et la compétence du personnel. Un excellent rapport qualité/prix. La proximité de mon lieu de rendez-vous (10 mn à pied). J'y reviendrai.

La proximité géographique, par rapport aux puces de saint ouen, et ensuite Paris. La réception toujours ouverte 24h/24. Calme. Le personnel de ménage très agréable.

L'arrivée, on nous a dit que notre réservation n'a pas été prise en compte, que toutes les chambres étaient réservées, à 3heures du matin c'est dur. Puis en regardant bien, il nous a retrouvé mais c'était fastidieux. L'état de la moquette, tâchée, pas de prise pour les sèches cheveux dans la salle de bain, pas de baignoire, mobilier différent de la photo, bien plus petit.

La situación no es muy buena. Veo necesario utilizar coche. El hotel dispone de parking. Para viajeros de a pie lo veo un poco retirado.

Malgré l'interdiction de fumer dans les chambres, forte odeur de cigarettes très gênante émanant du couloir. Clients voisins très bruyants dans les couloirs entre 20h et 22h et entre 7h et 9h.

Niente riscaldamento, se non una stufetta anteguerra irremovibile posta sotto una scrivania di legno che andava solo a volte e non era sicura. Servizio inesistente, abbiamo richiesto la prenotazione di un taxi che non è mai arrivato quindi ci hanno fatto aspettare 1 ora ( si è nel mezzo di una zona deserta) e perdere il bus per l'areoporto fino a che da soli in mezzo alla strada abbiamo trovato un taxi ( 5 di mattina). 1 dei portieri (su 4 alla hall) si è espresso con razzismo sulla nazionalità del mio compagno. Poca pulizia.

Le perosnnel de l'hotel était sympathique, et nous a donné de bons conseils pour nous déplacer. Le petit déjeuner était assez bon et pratique.

Le petit déjeuner était trop cher pour la prestation (café de mauvaise qualité). Cette hotel manque cruellement d'hygiène et d'aménagement. Les clients claquent les portes et ne pensent pas aux personnes qui y sejournent. L'hotêl est très loin de tout ! Une voiture est indispensable.

Forte odeur de tabac froid dans la chambre proposée. Changement rapide mais était parfaitement informé de cette odeur avant la résa ! Dîner et petit déjeuner sans saveur.
