ibis Styles Annecy Centre Gare  

Very well located.

Despite adcertising air conditioning in the room, it was not available. When I asked the receptionist about , I was told it wouldn't be switched on till the following week. I chose the hotel because it had A/C. To not make it available is almost fraudulent, at the very least delibrately misleading. I will be advising friends visiting Annecy NOT to use this hotel and am considering whether or not to use the Ibis chain at all in the future.

Good breakfast, big bed, located not far from the train station and city centre, conditioner.

Shower does not flow strong enough; it's easily getting cold in the room because of the balcony door that is not shut well.

Breakfast was excellent for France. Lived the freshly squeezed orange juice

Hard to find in the dark. Arrived at night and drove round for half hour trying to find the hotel. Needs better signage. Garage very tight and small.

Parking was difficult

We were next to the lift and could hear the lift whole night. The room was not sound proof so we could hear people voice next door.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included in the room price) was very good.

The hotel used to be part of the Comfort chain I believe and it needed one updating. The small room was OK but storage space for clothes was terrible. I had to put the extra pillow and blanket on the floor to use a shelf. The sliding clothes rack kept sliding out and I was afraid it would poke me in the eye. The safe (always a good idea) took up most of the only othe shelf and it didn't seem to work well. The balcony was nice to have but it was dirty as was one of the chairs. We were in room 210 facing a dead end street but heard th trash men weekday mornings at 6 am.

Good location from Annecy centre. Good value. Secure parking available upon reservation. Price of room also includes breakfast.

Location of hotel was a little tatty. Esp the square in which the hotel is located. Rooms are small but this is not suprising considering the price.

Rooms well-designed; friendly staffs; fine breakfast

Nice hotel for the price, clean and comfortable. Very helpful, friendly staff and only a 5-10 minute walk to the old village. Would recommend.

Car parking in the basement was a little poky and expensive. Best to park out front for 2 Euro. Beds were a little hard but not a big problem.

Ibis had recently taken over this hotel and were obviously emabarking on a programme of improvements, so whilst it seemed a little rough and ready, that looks likely to improve over the coming months

Our room had a balcolny with views of the distant mountains over other buildings. Lovely pattiserie a few doors away. Use of internet in lobby area. Beds were comfy.

The hotel had changed it's ownership and name from 1st of June and nobody told us so it took 20 minutes to locate exactly which hotel it was. Staff very unwelcoming from the moment we booked in. Hotel is situated in quite a run down area of Annecey although we did get used to watching drug deals going off in the plaza below our room and yes they were drug deals!! There is quite an unsitely concrete plaza outside the front of the hotel which needs to be got rid of. The bar opposite wasn't very welcoming possibly because this was where some drugs activity was centred around and we were strangers.

it is a little on the high on the price side but perhaps this is because of its location for central Annecy

Stayed two nights while on tour, secure parking available beneath the hotel with directlift access to the room. Room had air con and external roller blinds that were both really effective, queen sized bed - we slept well. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location 10 -15 minute walk along the river/canal to the old town centre.

Its changed it's name since we booked - we were not forewarned. The address description is also a bit confusing as it's not well supported by local signage. Check the Map before you travel, maybe look at google earth to see if its shown there. Tom Tom gps struggles in the built up centre of Annecy.

Simple comfortable hotel. Good breakfast - about 10 mins walk to old town. Free internet access.

Very professionally run hotel

Close to City centre but far enough away not to be noisy and crowded. Nice walk along canal to Annecy.
