Near metro stops Abesses and Blanche Good bed!!! Friendly staff
Small room No ventilation/fresh air No dvd player in tv. Near a bar a bit of noise.
Bed were comfortable. They were not too soft and not too hard either. The location was great because it was close to the Metro "Abbesses" and to Sacre Coeur.
I was not convinced by the overall cleansiness of the bathroom. The mirror was never wiped (after the shower you could see some writing on the mirror of a previous person), and made me wonder. If they don't wipe the mirror, what else is not wiped and cleaned properly. But that is just my personal opinion.
Photos on internet do not match actual rooms. Wifi useless. Rooms very small and cramped. Rooms stuffy and can't leave windows open as noisy outside. Dusty and poorly maintained room
Our room was small and rather warm but this has almost always been our experience in many stays in Paris. Room was however very clean, serviced daily and shower pressure great. Staff very helpful and location great for Montmartre, and getting around via Metro. Lots of excellent locals cafes and sites to see. We love Paris!
We were right next to the lift and many house guests were very noisy too.
I loved staying at this hotel, and it was a great deal! We could wander the streets on the hill of Montmartre, and see all the artisans at work! In 10 minutes we were at the beautiful Sacra Coeur church. Again, great restaurants nearby and artisans working in an open square. There were lots of people at the cafes and bars nearby, but everyone seemed friendly and we felt safe. Also, the Moulin Rouge, a cabaret, is about 3 blocks away. Quick access to the metro (3 blocks).
It was quite noisy in the evenings because we liked to keep the windows open, but we still slept well. Also, the elevator is tiny but quaint!
Majority of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle was over an hour late and we almost missed our flight. However a reception named "Hanafi" was very helpful, he offered us to use his cell phone so we can call to track where the bus were. He was also very polite and greets everyone in and out.
First, the hotel is located right above from two pubs which doesn't close until 2am and people don't leave until maybe 3am. The hotel itself also does not have any air conditioner so with the window open, you really hear EVERYTHING all night long...... Second of all, I have to warn you all of one of the staff and his name is ""GREGORY"". He is the ruddiest staff I have ever seen in my life!! I honestly don't know how he got this job and I feel so sorry that the hotel has a staff like him...once the manager is back from vacation I will file a compliant on him. He worked mostly on all night shifts. Day 1: We nicely asked him when all the bar are going to closed. He answered with an attitude; "You know you are in the Moulin area right??" (We weren't even trying to compliant about the noise, we just wanted to know when it will be closed so we might go for a drink ourselves!) Then we asked for our room key, he gave us a key for another room....that really makes me wonder how safe this place is.... Day 2: We asked him if he can guide us to use the phone to call the airport service to confirms our reservation. He answered with an attitude.. NO, I can call a Taxi but you can't use the phone! (Again he was NOT answering our questions!) Day 3: This is the last night we were in Paris and also the worse night ever dealing with him. We have hired a make up artist for our wedding photo shoot on our last day in Paris which the artist was coming by at 4am to start doing my makeup and hair so we can start shoot when the sunrise. When my artist and her French boyfriend arrived (the boyfriend only came with her to keep her company since it was still midnight), he told them that they can't come in it's passed the visitor time. Okay this was our mistake that we didn't ask ahead of time but main point was his ATTITUDE towards everyone!
Location staff were excellent simple but clean I would definitely stay there again
Late night noise.
the staff was very friendly and helpful
Pictures on internet did not match our room the rooms were stuffy with no fans available
Great location, easy to get to all main tourist sites. Rooms and bathroom small but clean, not a problem for slim adults. Can be noisy at night, but hey this is Paris what do you expect, just close the window. Overall, good value and would stay again.
Staff were very kind and helpful Room was clean and cleaned daily Location of hotel was very good...very close to blanche metro stop..dont go through abesses unless you use the lift or else your in for alot of spiral stairs
Room was tiny...2 people barley have enough space to move.. No ac or fans, open the window and you have alot of noise from the bars just across the street..
Great location and good value for money
Small bedroom and bathroom. Can't split bed into 2 singles (twin share). No air-con so uncomfortable sleep in summer
The location was excellent and near some great bars and restaurants. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
The lack of air-con. We found it very difficult to sleep in the heat.
The staff were amazing and helpful. Always cheerful. The room although small was clean and had a great view of all the action in the street. Room 32 was brill and the shower was powerful. I would have liked tea making facilities and a better hairdryer. The location was the best. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and easy access to the Metro. Would deffo stay again.
The lift was tiny but it was such a small complaint.
Good price good location, inc restaurants.close to subway
Close to sex shops, Tiny bedrooms and even tinier lift,! Very hot and noisy at night, Small en-suite, scruffy hallway.
Booked a double room got a twin. I do not like single beds. Hotel waited until 14h to give me my room and hotel was unable give me a room before even though I arrived at 10h. Like all their rooms are magically cleaned at 14h and not before!!!! The hotel is clearly in need of renovation. Definetely not of the level of standard of a Comfort INN hotel
Room was nice and clean
No air conditioning
I loved the location. Just down the hill from Sacre Coeur. Restaurants and shops surround you. The Abbesses metro just two blocks away. Inexpensive, well stocked breakfast available for a nominal charge. Trust me on the coffee. I drank coffee everywhere, and they served the best coffee I could find in Paris. Better than Starbucks!!
Rowdy bar on opposite corner. Very hard mattress may not please some people.
View from the terrace
Room smelled mildewy
very loud at night because there are many bars around the hotel
location is fantastic. fairly clean. many windows.
wifi almost unusable. lighting was terrible: fluorescent lighting. we dont use TVs, but noticed it didnt work, also AC non-functional. Bed very hard. overall very basic place, for moderate expense. been to nicer hostels.
we found the location of this hotel perfect - a halfway house between the sacre cur and the hustle bustle of the moulin rouge - we had a view of the Eiffel Tower and it wasn't as noisy as expected! the rooms were cleaned daily, staff were friendly and helpful and we will stay here again! x
the rooms are small but for two they are perfect for a short stay - the lift was tiny!
location was nice
I liked the location near Sacré Coeur and the famous places of Montmartre. I liked the breakfast.
The hotel was close to the train station and place du tertre, this was the only thing good about the hotel.
Rooms are nothing like they are described or pictured. Rooms have a moldy smell, and are very very small. You cannot walk to the other side of the bed. And you might as well sleep on the floor because the beds are hard as rocks. The staff was rude and unaccommodating, they are not willing to help you out by any means. Do not recommend for the price paid.
