This was the second time we've stayed and it was just as good as before. Quiet, friendly and efficient. Good quality breakfast on the whole.Beautiful breakfast area and sitting room, nicely designed and stylish art. Comfy bed and quietness ensured a good nights sleep. Pillows a bit flat. A second pair in the room would have been good. Scrambled egg at breakfast was very strange - powdered egg ? - also not offered ground decafe coffee at breakfast but powderd 'nescafe'- although could have it at other times - not sure why ? These are minor things that didn't spoil our stay - more just a bit dissapointing.

The rooms are superb. The bed is so comfortable.....the linens are nice and new and don't smell like hotel. The pillow is excellent. The bathroom is all new and of veryvery high standards/ I think the only small negative is that the shower is not very powerfully and for someone like me who likes very hot showers , the maximum temp of the water was not very high.

It is in an excellent location and yet very quiet in the rooms. Rooms are very well furnished and new and very clean. Breakfast good for money. No restaurant for evening meal.

The Hotel was very central for visiting the city and everywhere was in walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and very clean.The staff were very friendly and couldnt have been more helpful. I lost my phone and they assisted in every way possible. The continental breakfast was excellent and we had a lovely stay in La Rochelle

The staff was very friendly and helped us with some practical issues such as how to get to ile de ré. Tickets to the museums notably Aquarium can be bougth in the hotel. Magnificant breakfast buffet for €10 value for the money.

a very comfortable bed, a good shower and quiet at night despite being very centrally located I really hated the metal shutters on the windows- it felt like a prison cell when they were down. i would've prefered thick curtains.

The hotel was located very near the port of La Rochelle in the historic city area, plenty to see on a walk around and bus station a few hundred yards away. There is a bus from the Airport. Splendid Aquarium nearby. Hotel had been modernised and the room was comfortable and clean. Reception staff spoke English and were polite, pleasant & helpful - we successfully asked for more bedding as it was January & so cold - 2 degrees! The air conditioner could also be used as a heater. Buffet breakfast was ok, but some quality coffee would have made it much better! Better still put coffee/tea making facilities in the bedroom!

I've stayed there twice, and look forward to another visit. Friendly staff, good location, but beware, if your satnav system is like mine the address will not exist unless you add "de la" between the words "rue" and "sardinerie"

The location is central yet really quite, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. We would certainly stay there again, and would happily recommend it to others.

Very friendly staff went out of their way to help us park our Landrover Defender with roof rack although it wouldn't fit in parking spaces. Hotel in good location for restaurants and shops although an 8/10 min walk. Very good value.

Clean, new, modern hotel. Beds were very comfortable. My room felt spacious. The hotel breakfast buffet was also good and a must have. I had done issues with my phone not being able to find the hotel wifi. However, I think this might be just an issue with newer smart phones and service providers in France.

The location is great, two minutes from the port but in a quiet side street.Having parking is a big bonus as well.The room was large the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern.Everything was spotlessly clean as well.Overall an excellent hotel.

This was our second visit. It was just as good as the previous occasion. The staff are excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome.

efficient, friendly staff in a well maintained small hotel, ideally located for all the attractions of La Rochelle. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family and will certainly stay here on our next visit to the city.
