Hôtel Saint Nicolas  

From time of arrival to departure, the service offered by staff was excellent. The hotel was well-maintained and the bedroom accommodation was first class (comfortable and clean). The location was quiet and within a short walk of the old port - an ideal location. The buffet breakfast was generous and well-presented. Strongly recommend.

The hotel is in an excellent location close to all the main sights in La Rochelle. It was easy to find using the online directions with the site. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and had a nice modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. We also had free wifi connection which was available on request from reception. The breakfast was excellent and was served in a pleasant conservatory style room. We noticed they also had English newspapers. Car parking was available at an extra charge but essential in the centre of the town.

Professional friendly and good atmosphere...liked the breakfast and lounge area....relaxing and attentive...would go again and a fair price..

Some watery plumbing noise was irritating , but matter resolved satisfactorily

The location is central yet really quite, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. We would certainly stay there again, and would happily recommend it to others.

This was our second visit. It was just as good as the previous occasion. The staff are excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome.

Exactly as described good modern accommodation, nice staff and good breakfast. Location good with bars and restuarants close to hand in a nice friendly town.

The directions to the hotel on booking.com confirmation email were wrong leading me down a pedestrian only road and therefore making finding the hotel very difficult.

The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting La Rochelle. It's walking distance from everything except for the beach but that's because there's no real beach in La Rochelle.

It's a pitty that their parking capacity is way to small in relation to the number of rooms. (30 places for 86 rooms). Fortunately the city parking is close by.

Good central location with parking
