Despite the renovation around us, the staff were very welcoming very conversant in English and helpful. Will be a lovely hotel once renovations are completed. Hotel has a lovely ambience.
There really wasn't any negatives. The only one it would have been lovely to stay in one of the renovated floors but we were very comfortable nonetheless.
shower did not work no access to hotel for disabled person room was very small double bed was very small no tea making facilities I wanted to pay cash in advance they then locked the mini bar because I do not use a credit card I have visited Paris 30 times in the past 35 years this has been far and away the worst experience I have had
Vincent the concierge was excellent. He had answers to all our questions and he managed to reserve for us all the best places we thought impossible to get a reservation.
Our room was next to house keeping lift,so we were awakened by the pulling and pushing of there working trolleys. It was terrible.
Excellent room. Luckily, the floor we stayed in, was recently renovated.
We had a baby on the stroller, and every time we go in or out of the hotel, we need to pick it up. Sometimes, you get helped by the conceirge.
location, large bedrooms, great bar
shame they are restoring the fabulous entrance hall, will be back next year!
The website shows new and renovated rooms but we got a very old one!
I was able to hear voices coming from either above or next door In The first room I occupied when travelling independently. The day I joined my tour group I had to check out and wait nearly three hours before transferring to the room I would be sharing. Spasmodic drilling noise was a problem if trying to rest during the day problem. I would suggest not considering this hotel until after renovations complete.
Price is not equal to the quality
the staff raised our rates and there was construction going on
The location was handy
The hotel room was tiny, the decor was terrible, the minibar wasnt cold, the concierge and reception desk was cold and unfriendly. When i called to ask what time i had to check out at as my train didnt depart until 6 i was coldly told 'in fine minutes!' Before having the phone slammed on me. What a goodbye. When i went to check out i wasnt even asked about my stay. I stayed at the hilton metropole in florence earlier this year and that felt a lot more personal and welcoming.
incredibly small rooms, shower not working well renovations in lobby mice in the bar
Room is too small...
the line of hairdryer was to short
- The smile of the reception employees when they had to handle the next complaint
- No WIFI, just time by time some connection in the lobby - Bathroom dirty, many stains, mould and dust - Breakfast items not always replenished - The quality provided for a € 300,- per night costing room
basically nothing much
i did not feel that am in a comfort hotel
Room very low quality; front desk personnel badly. We had a very bad decision to reserve this hotel; expensive and bad quality hotel.
No fitness center
The staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The hotel is located next to the metro allowing for easy access to the entire city. Nearby restaurants are excellent.
The room was small. Storage was limited, and the furniture was worn and dated.
Lack of fitness centre
Room very comfy
Because of my 1 year old son,we need to upgrade to executive room that cost €40/night
Pillows were bad
The atmosphere was great. Very clean. Friendly staff.
The Door men could have been more attentive. The breakfast was too dear so did not have it there.
Staff Service was excellent - very helpful and courteous at all times. Hotel is in a good location close to railway and bus lines and shops. Easy and short commute to nearly all attractions. Would stay there again
Restaurant attached to the Hotel is a bit overpriced given there are good restaurants with similar food for half the price nearby.
Staff friendly, professional. English good. Room large, comfortable.Close to Metro.
No kettle or coffee maker in rooms.
