In the center of the city, just over a quarter mile from the old city, this 19th-century building was turned into a hotel in 2006.

Paper cups in bedroom and staff in restaurant poor
Positioned next to the tramline and only 5 mins walk from the Place de la Republique with all its bars and restaurants this hotel is an ideal base to explore the city. Although the public areas of the hotel look a bit tired the rooms have obviously been refurbished and modernised and we found it very comfortable
There is only parking for 10 cars in front of the hotel, which is ok if you arrive during the afternoon when there is space. By early evening it is generally full and finding good parking nearby could be a problem. Bizarely, the restaurant is closed on a Saturday night. Late night revellers walking down the street can be noisy, particularly if it is warm and you have the window open.
Staff very helpful, we were able to park in the hotel car park on a (first come first car space ) FREE !!! and it was very friendly Thank You
Friendly staff. Comfortable room and good facilities. Very quiet while we were there (room at back of hotel)
Rooms quite dark - no central ceiling light. Didn't know had to pay 8€ for parking (but it was very handy to have parking outside the hotel)
The room was newly fitted out and felt luxurious. Safe, free parking outside the hotel and within walking distance of the old town with a tram stop outside. Good breakfast and had a wonderful evening meal there too.
Nothing really, wifi was a bit patchy and the parking might be limited in busy periods. Arriving in the rush hour wasn't easy either!
We found the staff polite and helpful and the rooms pleasantly furnished with the most comfortable bed.
We arrived around 7pm and there was no parking space left and the resteraunt was closed.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable which was a surprise after entering a rather shabby reception area with a funny old lift
Car parking is a disgrace. City Center location and car parking for six cars only. I had to park at the railway station, a tram ride away, after being moved on by the police when i tried to unload on arrival and parked outside hotel in street! This needs rectifying V quickly.
Clean, comforttable and nicely furnished. Our connecting family room (double and twin), each had their own full bathroom, a real bonus!
Central position. Staff were helpful but reception seemed to be understaffed, particularly when we arrived
Excellent suite of two adjoining bedrooms both with en suite facilities for the price of one double bedroom. Good A/C Excellent secure parking directly in front of hotel.
Restaurant closed for refurbishment but plenty of places within walking distance in middle of Le Mans
The rooms were very comfortable. Very large bathrooms. Only 5 minutes walk to city centre.
We stayed here only over night which it was perfect for, as it is lovely but Le Mans is a pretty boring place. We got an extra for the same price which was awesome too.
Parking was a bit awkward but you can reserve a place there. Otherwise you can easily park behind the hotel on one of the backstreets. The location isn't great but is fine for an overnight stay or if you were there for the car races.
Refurbished bedrooms with plenty of space & adequate en-suite facilities. Also good air con that is not over noisy Everywhere spotlessly clean
Hotel reception area is not refurbished and at first arrival can give a tired impression of the hotel - which is not the case Limited (very) car parking space at hotel itself, most guests have to park on the street or nearby station. Bedroom lighting is v,poor which seems to be latest trend in hotels - can't see it myself
Everything was good clean staff helpfull. Ideal for visiting Le Mans
Staff where very friendly and helpful
The hotel it seems has had a bit of a refit carpets beds etc, it just felt a little bit old and jaded, the breakfast was ok but again a little bit boring, there was no evening meal as the restaurant was closed don't know if that was due to end of season or just not enough guests, as stated just a bit of a tired place.
Kids loved having an adjoining room all to themselves!
Some parking out the front of the hotel but not much
It was a welcome relief after a 9 hour slog from Bergerac on the last Saturday in August! Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff, most helpful with dining recommendations.
I liked just about everything about the hotel, location, comfort, room size, staff and not least the price
Difficult to find one, in fact, amazingly for be I can't! Great hotel in a great location with professional staff. I could not ask for more
Polite staff, spacious comfortable room, near the centre of town. Bed very comfortable.
Only booked this hotel as had a restaurant and an inclusive offer. Booked in May, received email on day of booking, whilst travelling, stating restaurant not available, had I known in advance I would have booked else where; the hotel knew well in advance but did not let us know, very poor. The only take away options were sushi or pizza, not impressed.
Hotel was clean, and room facilities lovely. Bed is a nice king size with plenty of room. Good value for an overnight stay in Le Mans. Sleep disrupted by noisy revellers outside but this is no fault if hotel. Restaurants about 10 mins walking distance. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant.
Beautiful hotel with (small) private car park 5 mins walk from the tourist areas. Our children got their own (secure and adjoining) room to ours. Price was amazing. Top, top find!
Large adjoining rooms for a family of four. Very comfortable and excellent value.
Breakfast too expensive for a family of four at 14 euros per person inc children, considering a 3 course evening meal at a very good restaurant is only 17 euros. No hotel bar.
Most hotels have a fancy reception and then the rooms are poor....but this hotel has the opposite of that. The reception is a bit dated but the rooms are charming. Big rooms with high ceilings and with a very French feel. Such a nice change from the ususal blandness of a 'chain' hotel. As a family we were given two interconnected rooms..each with a TV, bathroom and air con. Loads of space for us and two kids plus free Wi Fi so the 14 yr old was happy!! Staff were friendly and helpful and it is only a short walk to the shops and bars of Le Mans. As a place to stay for a night or two it is well worth it..and if we return to Le Mans, we will definitely stay again.
Restaurant closed for refurbishment...
Room was refurbished and very nice, good view, good location, friendly staff, lovely old town, free secure parking in front of the hotel, good value for money
Common parts of the hotel feel very dated, rooms don't have an additional deadlock on the inside, family room was two interconnected doubles
Nice hotel with it´s own style. Close to the Place de la Republique (centre of the city). Good staff. Breakfast OK, no bacon and all that which is fine because this is France, not the UK. Would stay here again in case I´ll stay in Le Mans again.
Can´t think of anything.
