I've been staying at the Hotel Concordia in Le Mans for many years. The staff are reserved but friendly especially the Maitre d in the restaurant! The building is in need of refurbishment however during my last stay it became clear that they are actively undergoing a programme of improvements. I have enjoyed several good meals in the restaurant for a very reasonable price. At €70/night this hotel is good value for money. The choice for breakfast is a little limited but otherwise adequate and certainly no worse than other French hotels that I have stayed in.

The building has great character, especially the ground floor, bar and restaurant area. It is close to a tram stop, and walkable distance from the station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room I was in was very spacious. Free wi-fi is a plus. it has an air of "faded glory" - the building has so much potential, but a major investment is needed, especially for the guest rooms, which are seriously in need of refurbishment, eg. furnishings are a bit delapidated, the decor is very drab and old fashioned and my room smelt musty. Breakfast is overpriced at 14 euros, not least because of the poor quality of the coffee

It was conveniently situated and clean No Restaurant facility available on arrival which we were not aware of and all restaurants in area of Hotel were also closed. No food after a full days travelling. Not good.

Fair size of my room - Excellent location Four stars? Definitely not... The hotel was certainly **** 20 years ago, but it is not at this standard anymore. No Minibar, random wifi connection, no trolley to put the case on, old furnitures, broken washbassin... Worse: a very vulgar pannel about the hotel on the top of the entrance, as well as a "ultra sexy" naked woman turned into a lamppost... Even if I'm French, I found it more suitable for a tabledanse bar rather than for the entrance of a world-class hotel. About the staff? A very nice and effective young , but lonely and certainly assigned to several tasks, so that I had to wait for her at check-out - and no bell to ring. My feeling: will no pass anymore the new Four Stars standard that is emerging. Sorry

Le calme malgré les travaux ,et le beau sourire de la belle jeune femme qui nous a monté notre petit déjeuner . Et aussi le montant ,je pense que nous reviendrons avec nos enfants . merci . A la confirmation de la réservation par e mail ,il y avais une baignoire et a notre arrivée une douche .

- Hôtel entre la gare et le centre ville, proche du tramway - Intérieur ancien L’hôtel est actuellement en travaux ce qui laisse présager une amélioration prochaine des aspects négatifs cites. - lit a ressors sur sommier mobile - pas de régulateur pour le chauffage (trop chaud)

- La localisation de l'hôtel est top! à mi chemin entre la gare et le centre ville, et la proximité avec des petits commerces (boulangeries, Carrefour city...) peut être très utile ! Situé dans une grande rue mais pas bruyant pour autant! - Le style de l'hôtel - Salle de bain spacieuse - Personnel accueillant - Le prix des petits déjeuners est trop élevé lorsqu'on ne dispose que d'un budget "étudiant"... - Le lit n'était pas super bien fait, et la qualité des draps laisse un peu à désirer.

Le tarif! Il n' a pas de différence entre le le site de booking et le tarif de base de l'hôtel!! Le tarif proposé est le tarif normal, de base à 86 € ... ce n'est donc pas une bonne affaire...
