'Self catering apartment' booked - arrived and not a single item of crockery, cutlery, pans etc - absolutely ridiculous. Furniture like a run down student apartment - very disappointed
Very helpful, friendly & patient staff. Easy parking right outside the hotel. Great views of the surrounding countryside. Comprehensive selection of drinks and food to purchase from the hotel foyer. Staff were even able to recommend a pizza delivery firm that delivered to our room, useful as one of our party was not able to walk.
My only gripe would be that although our family apartment had a kitchen with fridge and hob there was no other equipment (e.g. crockery, cutlery etc), this may be quite normal.
location and good car parking
corridor fire doors make a lot of noise when closing and wake you up at night.
Works for an overnight stay, would not want to stay longer. Room comfortable, but basic. Staff Helpful and gave eating recommendations etc.
Not great views and location was in the middle of housing/industrial area.
Bad smelly rooms. No kitchen utensils. No wifi as it was quite poor strength. Breakfast was ok but it it's typical good quality.
Helpful staff. Big parking lot, Lidl nearby. Location: very far form the town center, you will need a car.
The kitchen is not equipped if you stay less than 10 days. Of course no-one travels with pans and cutlery, so you could say you pay for a kitchen you cannot use. I insisted and managed to obtain 2 plates, 2 forks and knives, 1 pot and 2 cups for a 50€ deposit. Problems with the WiFi.
Staff was not friendly to the kids
The breakfast is very good. The place is clean. Having the extra space of a studio apartment was nice. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The other guests were quiet. There seemed to be a huge number of Belgians.
The quality of the furnishings is cheap, the double bed is very small, the location makes it hard to walk into the centre of Epernay.
It was clean and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. They were happy to tell us were to go and what to do. The rooms were spacious and pleasant.
The hotel was a little far out of town. Despite the rooms having kitchens they were not stocked with pans, plates, cuttley, cups etc which was rather useless. The rooms had lovely large windows but extremely dangerous for children as there were no safety locks.
Very clean good sized rooms for a traveling break. This is more of an apartment than a hotel room. I found the staff very helpful, showed me the room before I booked in so I knew what I was getting. They also gave some recommendations for dinner locally.
There is no kitchen equipment at all. If you have been camping make sure The kitchen equipment is accessible. Fairly expensive but that is probably the region.
99 euros for family of 4 booked the day before in August - can't complain. Yes it is a bit tired and basic but for that price you cannot expect more.
Good, helpful staff, easy access to town, quiet rooms, nice breakfast
Directions unclear, staff smoking at main entrance, no fixef shower head
I did not get the duplex room I had reserved months ago and the front desk staff was hardly alive!
location; No wi-fi No air conditioning, no fan provided in room
Nice view of the vinyards
Breaksfast isn't worth 10 euros and they tried to lock us out of the breakfast room before the 10 am deadline. Go to a cafe instead.
Great tourist info from staff Good breakfast Quiet location Very clean Original old 19th century buildings
A bit basic no air con in rooms very poor wifi considering it is one of their advertising features All signs say Comfort Inn, Les DemeuresChampenoises is not written anywhere so making it hard to find
The hotel has plenty of parking and the rooms are spacious. Pay for breakfast as it's a good spread.
The hotel name has changed to Comfort suites so the GPS didn't find it easily. The wifi didn't work well at all so it was a real problem.
Like an army camp ,difficult to find,no food, would Not go back
Cheap furnishings and interior fittings Very average breakfast WiFi not working
Dirty and small bed that had to share as they did not have a twin room. Staff were bored and indifferent. Not a great experience
Not comfortable enough for the price It looks like an hospital And they charge you 75 € if you check out 30 mn late.
The location was good.
It looks good on the outside, but when you get in its another story. Not really a hotel. Somewhere to sleep! It is an apartment hotel, but there was 1 cup, 2 forks, 1 bowl in a 4 person room! The management need to go to Ikea. We turned up and were told there was no booking, however I had a confirmation from Booking.com He puffed and moaned and found me a room, however then found the original booking. Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely no. It is the only hotel/apartment that whilst travelling for 1 year in Europe with my family that I would not recommend.
Clean and comfortable rooms, a good base to have in Epernay. A 10-15 minutes walk to town centre.
Budget hotel, very clean but brilliant staff. Girl on reception could not have been more helpful.
A bit of a walk in to town - 1.5 miles.
The view out the window towards the hills of Champagne was great. Free, secure parking. The space inside the room. The building was quite sticking from the outside.
Decor was a bit dated and tired. The shower not being at head height was awkward.
