In spite of providing a kitchenette, NO items that are part of a kitchen were provided. No pots, crockery, cutlery, utensils, glassware, kettle, tea towels, cleaning equipment (sponge, detergent). The cupboards were completely bare. Not even anything you'd expect in a hotel room - like a kettle and some cups. When I asked at reception, we were told we could have a box of items (with a deposit) if we asked for them. Why didn't the receptionist mention this when we checked in?This included the bare basics, but nothing that enabled you to make any sort of meal. AND... Then told we were obligated to clean the kitchen and to do this we could go out and buy cleaning stuff at a nearby supermarket. After travelling for 5 weeks through France in a variety of self catering places this was a first.
I don't think this property knows what it is.
If you're a hotel, at least provide a mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities. Don't provide a cooktop, fridge and drink and NOTHING else if you want to be an apartment.
Oh, and don't expect spare blankets or pillows, because they're absent too.
Seriously, don't be fooled...
