|Situated close to Porte d'Orleans Metro Station, Rouge Orléans is a self-catering accommodation located in Paris city centre.|
Avery nice little hotel, the rooms are little even the double and I am pleased I was on my own in a double room however it is not too much of an issue as everything else is pleasant.
A little bit noisy at night as you can hear the cars outside though I am not sure if it was because the window did not close very well or if it is because the double glazing is not the efficient.
Location! Rooms! Staffs! All were really nice.
The location of the appartment was spot-on! 1 minute walk to the metro station "convention" and bars, supermarkets, and various restaurants in the vicinity. Close to the eiffle tower if you are well acquainted with paris. The hotel room was as if I was staying at an appartment in a good parisien neighborhood. On weekend mornings, there is a weekend market right outside the hotel where old books, clothes, fresh cheese, and fruits can be found. Very clean, comfortable and excellent staff! Bravo!
The only thing that was inconvenient at this hotel was the wifi. I stayed on the 5th floor overlooking the streets and I would lose the wifi in the room. I had to stay glued to the door in order to use the wifi. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay at Hotel covention montparnasse.
Location and cleanliness.
We were a family of five and we stayed in their apartments. Shower was extremely terrible ,water came outside the bathroom. Washing machine was not working.
Location, close to metro, polite staff, clean room
Loved the location in the day but on a night the front rooms are very loud due to the underneath bars and cafés that seem to be open until 1/2 o clock, wifi wasn't the best and glass sink seemed to be cracked
Close to metro station Restaurants and bakery next door Friendly and helpful staff No pretensions Breakfast
Unuseable wifi - if internet is important to your stay you need an alternative
Staff are friendly. Room is acceptable. Many restaurants around and there is a Kentucky and supermarkets. very convenient. Close to the subway.
Lift is small.
Near the Metro and reasonable Value for Money and nice area
Lift did not work when we arrived for check in. Had to carry cases up 6 floors. I have emailed the Hotel about an item I left behind(which I would take full responsibility) and no reply. This has happened with a few emails I sent this Hotel.
Central.easy to travel to places.
Rue Vaugirard apartment was clean and spacious for family of four; kitchen was well-stocked with dishware and utensils, cleaning supplies; security was great, with door to courtyard and to building needing access keys. Furnishings were modern; linens were plush. Neighborhood was completely non-touristy, with great restaurants nearby, especially Je The Me (around the corner), Songsan (couple blocks away; Korean food); and a Sicilian pizza restaurant down the street. Many patisseries and groceries nearby. We walked to Tour Montparnasse, Montparnasse Cemetary and Luxembourg Gardens, but Metro stop is quite close by as well. On a neighboring balcony across the street a friendly King Charles Spaniel lounged in the evening and on the weekend. Overall, great experience in a real, safe, bustling french neighborhood. (even given the 3 listed complaints, for the money & positives, I would still stay here again)
The shower does not drain well, so water migrated quickly, and we had to mop several times before our kids figured out how to keep the shower stream at super low. Very disappointed that washer did not work. After we reported the problem, it still was not fixed after days passed. When I mentioned it again, the concierge had no knowledge I had already reported the issue. We ended up at a nearby laundromat. Also, one out of six lightbulbs in bathroom were functioning & no true dining table at which to eat (but large coffee table, and "bar style" table against wall)
Very modern and clean
Some guest service staff not as friendly as could be. Could be because of language barrier.
every thing about the hotel is just fantastic including the reception staff mathew was extremely helpfull phoning the telephone number to book the dday landing tour from paris for me. and my son. extremely close to the convention metro . you can walk to the eifeil tower in 30 mins if you want , also there is a taxi rank just round the corner and was only 10 euros to notre dam. there are a few places to eat around here including kfc macdonalds and lots of places for pitzas much cheaper than eating round the tourist sites. most of the cafe bars and eateries have staff who talk good english, this hotel i woud recomend for any couple family or solo travelers. also the hotel puts on a taxi service to the airport, i would stay here again,
pillows a bit hard nothing more
Beds comfortable. Coffee machine in the foyer was excellent. Allowing early use of room was very much appreciated. Liked the location and surroundings, good choice of cafes, restaurants and few shops.
Staff were dismissive on occasions, didn`t really go out of their way to be helpful. Liked the location and surroundings, but would probably stay closer to Latin Quarter next time, purely as a preferred area to visit.
Great location, metro and bus on the corner. Good bakery also on the corner - freshly made sandwiches and cakes
Extremely poor, slow and unsecured wifi connection. Not enough lighting for me and the room was dark
Superb location, close to Metro, small restaurants and bakeries. Excellent room on 6th floor for family of 3, quiet, opening window to central courtyard.
Not sure if there was air conditioning - recommend checking for a summer booking. We did not need it as the early July weather was fine.
I Booked this hotel 6 months prior ,it looked beautiful on the website that s why I picked it but when we arrived at the hotel at midnight with 3 small children ,5 big luggage's and 5 hand luggage's ,he sended us 4 blocks away ,we had to carry all the luggages by ourselves it was very unprofessional ,the apartment had a very smelly room and very distressed stairs ,the rooms were very hot with no air-condition or at least a fan ,at one point of our stay we had no water ,after a busy day touring paris we couldn't have a shower very disappointed ,at our checkout no staff offered us to help us carry our luggages ,we had to carry them all the way to the reception very disappointed ,I will not recommend this apartment due to lack of hospitality and help
Good location There are outside market on Sunday just in front of the hotel. I can kill time on Sunday
Some employee cannot speak English
I like the people and location.
wifi is very bad
Staff was great.
Wifi almost never worked.
From the standpoint that this is a Parisien hotel I don't think the value can be questioned. I wouldn't pay this price for similar standard accommodation out side of a major city; in Caen I can have a room like this (no air-con) for half the price. The BIG + is that the hotel is within 50metres of 'Convention' metro station so 10-15 minutes from anywhere in Central Paris and far less expensive than there. In addition to having a cleverly designed, 'though not large room the air conditioning worked: I cannot tell you what that was worth. Very comfortable bed, 'Juliet' balcony not too noisy considering we were right above 'Convention' square and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent value: 'Tropicana' orange juice, excellent coffee, cereals, cocktail-size smoked sausage and great scrambled eggs plus meats cheeses, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, fresh fruit, and usual breads and pastries, only 9.90€
great location and value for money. lovely modern apartment.
bathroom a little small for our family of 5
Excellent location, lifts to all floors, decent size room & bathroom. Laundry mat around corner.
Front desk abrupt & always on phone whilst serving - but that is the French!
