Loud banging of doors kept us awake and woke us up early morning. Doors very solid and need soundproofing. Worst hotel we have ever stayed infor this problem. Also we waited nearly an hour for our main meal. I had an entree so was ok but my wife elected for the main only and was made to wait. Two French couples came and went while we waited for ours. Hotel wa.s otherwise up to scratch.

All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was extremely pleasant; lovely patio area outside to sit. The breakfasts were very good with a range of fruits, cheeses, cold meats etc to choose from. The set evening meal was excellent. Our room was large, very clean and comfortable. All in all we enjoyed our stay immensely and will certainly return!

The only issue we had was with our room, there was no comfortable chair in which to sit to read. It would have been nice to have had an armchair in which to sit at the end of a busy day.

Absolutly not good value for money.

Friendly, attentive staff happy to oblige with any request. Easily accessible from the road system, and a large, free car park. 24 hour reception was re-assuring. Restaurant food was typically good quality regional French.

Would like TVs in rooms to be sound-level limited! (At one time we could hear at least 2 and possibly 3 nearby sets). Sometimes we had to search for someone to serve in the bar, which was also the breakfast room. It would be better to be one or the other! Not a complaint, but we felt it was sad that so many business people were sitting on their own in the restaurant...

I travel a lot and, in France, usually opt for chain type hotels (E.G. Campanile, Ibis) as one knows what to expect. I did not expect much from this hotel to be honest but I was absolutely bowled over by the layout (exceptionally attractive grounds, lovely bar), location (a few minutes from town centre) and superb staff (always friendly, polite and helpful). I actually felt a bit guilty at the amazing standard I received for so little money. Compared to other stays in France (for which I spent a lot more money), this was the standout best value coupled with most pleasant experience. The staff were in particular extremely friendly and helpful.

I stayed on a Sat night so maybe this was non-typical but I felt the hotel was under-staffed with people running between the front desk, bar and restaurant. Nonetheless, the staff that were there were without exception superb.

Un regret: l'absence de plateau "early cup of tea" dans la chambre, ce que pratique pourtant les Campanile...

La chambre était confortable et calme. Il y a un petit jardin qui est maginifique.

Il y avait un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre qui était rempli de bouteilles de soda déjà utilisée et il y avait de la nourriture. Il serait souhaitable de le vérifier avant.
