check in at 2 am in the morning and despite this concierge was very pleasant and polite. good quality/price close to the train station so confortable if need to leave early morning

It was exactly what I thought it would be

Location was good, just over the bridge.

Breakfast was extra and very expensive at 9 Euro per person. Parking can be an issue but there is a building nearby which is secure but costly.

Location of the hotel was excellent. Our room looked out on to the bridge & across the river, we also had a view of the train station clock tower.

Hard to sleep with the window open due to the traffic noise.

Comfortable room in which everything worked. My room was on the fifth floor and had a wonderful view over the rooftops of Bayonne, across the rivers to the old town and of the Pyrenees. Very convenient location opposite railway station and near the bridge leading into the old town.

Presumably the hotel charged the going rate for central Bayonne, but I felt it was a bit expensive for what it was.

Cleanliness of room in a convenient location

Only one desk clerk spoke Engllsh even though they listed the hotel as Enlish speaking--had litle knowledge of what was availaible in ythe area. Two of 4 lamps in room missing bulbs.

The location to the station was great however it was noisy if you opened the window for air, no fan or air con. Even on request for fan.

No air and when we went for breakfast, after agreeing to it at the hotel, because of the description from reception as to what was included, we were told a group had been in for breakfast earlier, so things were not available. No reduction was offered. When we asked for a fan for our room because it was hot we were told that only the room with no window had fans. We declined going into one of those.

When I arrived I was put in a room, with dark furniture had to have light on in daytime, the window was extremely small and I could not open it, in fact it was not a window you could open. I immediately went to reception and was then given a better room, i.e. I could open the window which was quite large. I was actually asked for payment before I saw the room, I will never do that again, and was very annoyed with the receptionist for putting me in the room in the first place when there was a better one available. The hotel needs a complete refit. I had a holiday of 8 weeks travel, staying in many hostels and hotels and this was the worst. I could not recommend it.

Perfect position to catch train next morning and to drop off hire car. Room was clean and adequate. staff helpful & Curtious.

Outside traffic noise if window left open

The hotel was almost opposite the railway station so it was very convenient. I was also a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It had a lift so there was no need to carry bags up flights of stairs.

The luggage room left open with our luggage in direct see from the street on the last day. The lack of electric outlet in the room (only one in the room, one in the bathroom)

It was 4 times trip to Bayonne and first stay for Hotel Cote Basque. It was perfect staffs are friendly and room are enough wide and clean. Even reception staffs support to translate my English to French for shopping. I really appreciate for it ans love to stay next visit for Bayonne ,too.

However only one thing was terrible. Maybe this is my mistake. I stayed room o 5th floor. And there was roof top window. I open it every　time Since I left hotel,i and my wife began an itchy rash. When We returned to Tokyo,my wife went to medical check and doctor told this is allergic reaction to the mite. I was used to be bitten by a tick. But she was the first time in her life. Room was clean. I think blanket also. Something come into room from roof top window. If you stay room ob 5th floor,I suggest not open roof top window.

Excellent location across from Gare. Bus direct from Airport. Good breakfast. confortable room.

It was in good position to explore the old town of Bayonne and paid for car parking was nearby.

The room we were given did not have a window to the outside world. When I mentioned this I was offered a room with a window, but declined the change as the room was smaller and rather shabby.

The hotel should be classified as a pension, the state of the building is very poor and the rooms not air conditioned and very noisy if one has the front rooms. Not at all value for money. The building needs a complete re-furbishment. The pictures on your website do not truly reflect the condition. Certainly would not use again or recommend. I would suggest you remove from Booking.com

Bad hotel, no second stay ever !

Everything, for too much money

Very close to the railway station. Breakfast was not fantastic but for France it was ok. The only bad thing with the hotel was that ventilation is non existing. Since we stayed in the middle of the summer this was not so good. Id you in there when it isn't that got there should be no problem.

Stayed at Hotel Cote Basque for one night during a tour of France and Spain. The price and location was perfect, 1 minute from the train station. Would definitely stay here again if in Bayonne!
