Delicious breakfast. Staff attentive, helpful & friendly. Clean, modern room in classic building. Residential neighborhood; easy Metro access (closest Jourdain; also Place des Fetes). Weekend open air market at Place des Fetes. One block from Elise Saint Jean Baptiste de Belleville (where Edith Piaf was baptized.) Short walk to Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.
Smell coming from open pipe next to toilet in "green door" room. Pipe was just covered with plastic. We left the window open and closed the door to the bedroom to contain the odor. Not an issue for us, but steep winding staircase to rooms.
The room was huge, quiet and well decorated, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, the hotel itself is small and cosy, feel like home, we loved Hubert and his kindness. It is the perfect area if you want to discover the eastern Paris while not being far from the center - as it takes only 6 minuts by metro to reach the center.
The Wifi was ok, but sometimes a bit capricious.
Easy walk to metro, park, with many places to have meals. WiFi is very good. The room and bathroom was clean and functional. I would recommend staying there for others.
I have nothing bad to say, as was all good.
The host was wonderful. Breakfast was outstanding Located near good shops and restaurants as well as train stations Enjoyed the comfortable room and bath
Coluers BnB is a relaxing and quite place to spend time in Paris. We found a nice and friendly atmosphere with Hubert and Luc in a peaceful location in the 19th district. Rooms was large, warm and clean and breakfast was delicious. Underground station is at jut 5min walk. Would stay there again and for sure recommend it!!
Stairs are a bit uncomfortable but Hubert was great in helping us, so no issue at all!!
Herbert is all that a host could be...friendly, helpful and warming.
Very nice place in a nice environment, with a nearby underground station . The landlord is an exquisite person and the petit dejeuner is really delicious.
Hubert was very helpful and flexible in check in and check out times. Very decent and clean room. Very calm and SAFE neighbourhood. Good breakfast.
Just to mention, location is 15 mins from Paris Est by metro. No elevator, but Hubert offered help to lift our luggages.
The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent; croissants, yogurt, cheese, fruit, and ham. Quirky, color-coordinated rooms with en suite bathrooms. The owners were helpful with wonderful suggestions regarding the neighborhood. Good English. Beautiful garden/ table to use for cheese and wine in the afternoon. Centrally located with cheese, bread, wine and grocery stores nearby. Near to Metro station. Lovely, quiet neighborhood.
Staircase is difficult if you have luggage, but not insurmountable. There is a dearth of good restaurants nearby, but the local food was tasty and reasonably priced.
Room was large, comfortable, contemporary. House has lovely, modern artworks. Continental breakfasts - quality, fresh ingredients - enhanced by nice conversations with Hubert, who practiced his English whilst I practiced my French - good fun! Location - lots to see in the 19th and good metro/buses to central Paris.Would we return - definitely!
Sore feet after too much walking!
Close to the metro and to necessary shopping. We enjoyed speaking with both Hubert and Luke. Breakfast was very good.
The one thing that was bad were the directions from Booking.com. They had the directions right, but the address listed on the printed directions was incorrect. So we're looking for the wrong number. The only other thing lacking was a way to keep any food items purchased cold.
Warm Welcome! Helpful. Great accommodations.
Very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, very comfortable bed. Handy to shops & Metro.
At our age the stairs were the only problem, but no doubt this would have been a problem in most places as they are all upstairs, the 49 steps to the bedroom was the only fault.
Charming, comfortable B&B close to bakeries, wine stores and cheese store. Near to Metro. Very quiet Parisienne neighborhood. Continental breakfast is fantastic. Owners are happy to make recommendations and provide information. Rooms are quirky, roomy and color-coordinated. A beautiful garden for sitting in the late afternoon with wine and cheese.
Stairwell was attractive, but a bit difficult to navigate with luggage.
The location and breakfasts were good.
The room could have had a TV in it
The breakfast was awesome and very friendly host ... we had a wonderful time!
Very close to the underground station makes it easy to access the rest of Paris. Very reasonable price. Owner was very eager to help us and laid on a lovely breakfast (spoke good english but when I said I like croissants, he took that to mean refill the bowl of them - croissant overdose!!) Brilliant character to the place
Very tight spiral staircase (we were on the top floor). 'Luckily' we had bagpacker rucksacks and only knocked one thing off the wall on the way up!
Nice big room - not Paris like at all; A very friendly owner, very helpful. Easy access to metro directly into center of Paris. Nice area of Paris with bistros, shops and the real Parisian life.
We didn't mind, but you have to be able to climb stairs otherwise the room is not suited for you. There is no elevator. However if you like walking in Paris, that shouldn't be a problem for you.
Breakfast was amazing with freshly baked croissants! Location great - very close to 3 tube stops and a nice area, and easy to get to Gard du Nord.
staff very friendly and helpful
The owner is positively charming It is located in a very animated area if Paris, but still very quiet The breakfast is just amazing! And, not only sweet things like the French people like... The room is big, well decorated, there was a bathtub, a water boiler, a hair dryer.. In short, anything you might need!
I see nothing negative there... I will definitively stay there during my next trip to Paris!
The host were very friendly and nolagable. The continental breakfast was awesome. Location was I block from the Metro and easy to get around the cities.
Nice location and environment, very near metro station (Jourdain - line 11), delicious breakfast, spacy room (for Paris), warm water, wifi. Also, the owners are very friendly! Magnifique! Recommended!
There is no TV but if you are going to stay in Paris only for a few days, that is no problem whatsoever, cause you don't have to time to watch TV anyway.
Great section of Paris. Metro stop close to B&B. Quiet. Big park nearby. Restaurants nearby. Easy section to find shops. Nice big bathroom.
Had to wait a long time for warm water to reach shower. Never got hot.
Our hosts were lovley and the place is the house of our dreams - excellent breakfast too :) would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family !
The place was a little musty at first but with the windows open there was no issue in a couple of minutes !
