The location and breakfasts were good.
The room could have had a TV in it
The breakfast was awesome and very friendly host ... we had a wonderful time!
Very close to the underground station makes it easy to access the rest of Paris. Very reasonable price. Owner was very eager to help us and laid on a lovely breakfast (spoke good english but when I said I like croissants, he took that to mean refill the bowl of them - croissant overdose!!) Brilliant character to the place
Very tight spiral staircase (we were on the top floor). 'Luckily' we had bagpacker rucksacks and only knocked one thing off the wall on the way up!
Nice big room - not Paris like at all; A very friendly owner, very helpful. Easy access to metro directly into center of Paris. Nice area of Paris with bistros, shops and the real Parisian life.
We didn't mind, but you have to be able to climb stairs otherwise the room is not suited for you. There is no elevator. However if you like walking in Paris, that shouldn't be a problem for you.
Breakfast was amazing with freshly baked croissants! Location great - very close to 3 tube stops and a nice area, and easy to get to Gard du Nord.
staff very friendly and helpful
The owner is positively charming It is located in a very animated area if Paris, but still very quiet The breakfast is just amazing! And, not only sweet things like the French people like... The room is big, well decorated, there was a bathtub, a water boiler, a hair dryer.. In short, anything you might need!
I see nothing negative there... I will definitively stay there during my next trip to Paris!
The host were very friendly and nolagable. The continental breakfast was awesome. Location was I block from the Metro and easy to get around the cities.
Nice location and environment, very near metro station (Jourdain - line 11), delicious breakfast, spacy room (for Paris), warm water, wifi. Also, the owners are very friendly! Magnifique! Recommended!
There is no TV but if you are going to stay in Paris only for a few days, that is no problem whatsoever, cause you don't have to time to watch TV anyway.
Great section of Paris. Metro stop close to B&B. Quiet. Big park nearby. Restaurants nearby. Easy section to find shops. Nice big bathroom.
Had to wait a long time for warm water to reach shower. Never got hot.
Our hosts were lovley and the place is the house of our dreams - excellent breakfast too :) would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family !
The place was a little musty at first but with the windows open there was no issue in a couple of minutes !
The host is very helpful and friendly. The hotel has very nice cosy little patio. Location of the hotel is unexpectedly good - close to the metro station - 10 minutes to the center, calm and quiet district, 5 minutes walk to the nice park.
steep and narrow stairway
Very quiet location, near Metro station (line 11): easy to go everywhere! Two nice parcs nearby (des Buttes Chaumont and Belleville). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and abundant and if the weather is nice there is a very small but nice garden. Few nice restaurants nearby.
Very welcoming hosts, delicious and filling continental breakfast, room spotlessly clean, nice quieter location out of the city centre but great transport link from jourdain metro. Not far on metro to all Paristop locations. We will be staying here again.
Nothing it's a great location to stay at.
Very, very friendly host Hubert!! Perfect breakfast with fresh orange juice, fresh made fruit salad! Very, very clean!
The warm reception and friendly/practical help given by host. Nice breakfast, relaxed atmosphere. Lively neighbourhood, very close to a wonderful park, metro station, cafes/bars. Light airy room, clean, tastefully decorated without being excessive. Small courtyard garden to sit out in.
Not enough clothes hangers. Apart from this, no complaints whatsoever.
Staff were excellent and very attentive. The room was great. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Very close to public transport (access to and from airport is best done via train - get off at Jourdain station). Internet (free) wifi access on every floor. Much cheaper to eat out in local area than in the centre of Paris. Would definitely use again when visiting Paris in the future.
It didn't bother me (I can sleep through anything), but July is Ramadan and it can get a little vocal at night in the neighbourhood. But unless you're a complete cultural Neanderthal, it shouldn't bother you too much. Stairs to rooms are a little narrow. Was a little difficult lugging my bike box up and down. But to be fair, one of the owners did the initial lifting, which they in no way needed to do, but did anyway.
The location is nice and you can enjoy some goog food around.
Hubert is amazing! Very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious (for Paris) and I liked that it was in a typical neighborhood. I almost felt like a local. Awesome breakfast in the morning. Lovely patio and breakfast room.
Stairs are narrow and you may need to haul luggage up a few flights. Plumbing is old and may smell a bit funky or make noise upon occasion. Not a big deal.
We found the property with ease and were made very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and the 19th district has plenty to see. We visited the Pere Lachaise cemetery, had a picnic in the Parc des Buttes Chaumont and loved the Sunday market in the Rue des Pyrennes.
