The room is small and comfortable. Bathroom and lavatory separated. The staff was very helpful and polite, everybody speaking English. They provided map about the transport and sightseeing. The hotel is situated near to Place d'Italie one can reach the centre easily, by metro (3 lines) or buses (for example No. 67). There are many restaurants and cafés nearby.

I come from Shanghai, China and study in uk. My boyfriend came to see me and we travelled to Paris, which was our first stop in Europe except Britain, and stayed in Paris for three nights. The location is very good as it's close to the metro station. Our room was on the top floor so the view was not bad. The style of the building is traditional French style. The room is very small, and the picture in the room is a bit odd= =! Anyway, it's a good choice to stay in Paris.

Quite spacious by Parisian standards. Although Place d'Italie is far from the city center, the metro (which is about 5 mins away from the hotel) makes it easy to get around. Beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was surprisingly big. Cafes and restaurants are plentiful in the area so you won't run out of food choices. There's also a big shopping mall with Carrefour a few mins away. Only one power socket! This makes charging difficult when you have multiple devices that require charging. The lift is also very tiny and takes a long time to come -- you're better off with the stairs.

Good location. Not very central, but good connection by public transport to the city centre, In the morning cleaning staff left towels in the main walkway on the floor! The blankets needs washing. Just one plug point in room. No tea making facilities in room.

I need to admit that this hotel is exactly like what I had expected. It is exactly the same as what other people wrote on the comments review. The staff are english friendly and very nice! The room is very very clean and the towels are changed everyday. I like the bathroom since it is soo big and wonderful light and view for triple rooms. The location is near to the metro within only 3 mins walk and the price is as low for your budget. I love this hotel very much and I will definitely come here again! As for the noise somebody mentioned before, I don't think it's loud at all. All Fine!

Reasonably peaceful location, affordable, good public transport connections. The towels were somewhat old and weary looking, the beds were made with a felt and a sheet folded around it.

A good 2 star hotel. Comfortable clean twin beds and a large bathroom. Lights good for reading in bed. Judging by earler reviews, breakfast has been considerably improved. Slim-line lift, so large guests may benefit by climbing the 6 story spiral stairs which circle it. Carpet and bedspreads not v. clean

Friendly staff, clean room, great quality/price rate, free wifi, hotel is near a metrostop. A perfect place for a short stay in Paris! Wifi-connection isn't great, small shower, the showerhead didn't stay in it's place, and the hotel-surroundings are a bit noisy (for people who are used to a silent neighbourhood, we ourselves didn't mind)

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Very close to the metro station and lots of food places around. We stayed in a 3 person room, it was crowded but had a huge bathroom. The hotel smelled like fried food but it didn't bother us. Wifi was best in the hallway, no in the room.

Location was good. Very close to Place d'Italie with good connections to the major sightseeing locations. Breakfast was ridiculous - less quantity for the price. Much better to have breakfast in one of the nearby cafes or even buy from outside and have in the room. One of the hotel staff was very rude, though we did not let this spoil the stay as we ignored him! Lift seemed to suddenly stop working for a couple of hours and had to climb 5 floors, which is not very pleasant especially when you have luggage. Could be made better!

Coypel is a 2star hotel that has nothing to be jealous of 3star hotels. The hotel is located in a very secure area next to a police station and 5minutes from a metro station (place d'italie). You can find also a big commercial center in the big square where you can do shopping without the need to go to the center. In that square there are many coffee shops and restaurants as well bakery and pharmacy. The service is really good and the people in the reception they speak good english. The rooms are clean and the staff is taking care of the rooms daily. I was impressed that in a 3bed room they put 3 toilet papers every day.I stayed both in a 3bed room and in a double bedroom and I am very satisfied. Every room has satellite tv with lots of channels. During the winter the rooms are very warm and there is always warm water to take a shower. The only disadvantage is that the walls are "fake" and you can listen almost everything from other rooms but this in overall it is a detail. Also I think there is no air-conditioning in the hotel (room are lucking a fridge as well) so probably you should avoid this hotel during summer. In overall its a very secure, clean, good located and value for money hotel that I would definitely visit again.

The girl at the reception spoke Italian very well (also english), she was very polite, the hotel is near (100mt) to the metropolitan and there are 3 lines that permit you to go to the most important paris monument in 10-15 minutes. The hotel was very clean, near the hotel there is a big commercial center and in the same road of the hotel there is a boulangerie. We arrived to the hotel before the check in time and they gave us the room immediatly. Every day they changed towels. There was some problem with the credit card so we had to pay with bancomat. The breakfast it is a little bit expensive considering that near the hotel there is a bar or a boulangerie where the breakfast cost less. It was a little bit expensive but considering that it was Christmas time I can accept it

Location for the reason i visited Paris The shower and bathroom needs updating and I did expect more comfort for the money I paid, I thought as an International City there might have been at least one English news channel for tourists like myself. The hot water was not thermostatically controlled, very dangerous for kids. Other residents were very noisy in the night or maybe it was the poor sound insulation in the hotel, but i was woken on both nights because of noise

“Very close to Public Transport. Excellent concierge (Patrice) who spoke very good English and was very attentive to our needs and took the hassle out of organising our return trip to the airport as well as tickets to the Moulin Rouge.
