Location,room was nice & clean
Entrance hall ,lift
I love the terrace. It's wonderful and directly facing the sea. Location is great. Value for money.
Very beautifull see view and close to old town. Nicely decorated room.
Very old building, and very old elevator. 3 steps make it diffult to enter with large suitecase. The paint in the hall is peeling off. So only go there for low budget. In the largest see-view room the bathroom was nicely renovated, but the drainage of the shouwer was blocked. They immediatly added a product, but it did not really help and remained the same for my stay of 4 days (water on hole floor if shouwer takes longer then 5 min) If you stay one day, kitchen is empty, not even a cup, you can not even boil water for coffé.
Most delightful quirky hotel. Our stay here was so good we stayed an extra night. It's not stainless-steel modern or flash, it's has soul! The terrace overlooking the sea has the best view of the Med. you could want. Spent most evenings with a wine watching the sunset. heaven. Our hosts Regina, Marion and Sami were wonderful and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back for another visit.
Across the street from the beach;next door to the Opera house; steps away from many wonderful resturants - walking distance from everyplace we wanted to visit; bus stop nearby also.
The rooms that face a courtyard are quiet and spacious. Room #11 which is above a noisy restaurant where many seem to drink and sing until the wee hours of the morning, is not a good room.
Sometimes in the late afternoon the elevator to the hotel had a smell of cat urine. The plants on the balcony facing the ocean seemed to be dying. Room 11 was super noisy. Had to step up and balance to get to kitchen in room 11.
The deck and view was wonderful. The staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
Location! View in balcony
This hotel is a hidden gem. The location in the old town provides easy access to everything. Our triple room had been recently renovated so was modern and clean, with a small balcony overlooking the courtyard and a balcony line for drying clothes. The shared terrace was large and fabulous, providing million dollar views. Wonderful value for money. The owner, Sonya as wonderful, so friendly and helpful.
Nothing not to like here
Great room. Really close to all the action. Old style building gives you a surprise but room is great.
great location, near the beach and staff is very nice.
the bar downstairs are quite noisy, you can barely fall in to sleep.....
Owners Marion and Reine were so helpful. Location was amazing with views of the sea and street markets were close by. Towels were changed daily. Great place to stay.
A few more kitchen utensils would be good.
Location is perfect - close to the beach, close to restaurants, cafes and bars. Parking is easy to find and convenient. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The shower is fantastic. Bathrooms look quite new. Small lift to get your luggage up to the third floor. Terrace is great to sit and look out over the beach.
Beds are quite small and the room can be a little noisy - but it's well worth it for the location. Would definitely stay here again.
excellent location, terrace overlooking the boulevard and seaview
no curtains so early wake-up from the light
The location was great, staff very helpful and friendly
The building is a bit run down with some tiles that lift from the floors. Also not good if you want a peaceful night as the road below is very busy at night. The kitchenette lacks utensils, crockery. There was a stove top to use but no pans or pots
Very friendly staff, excellent location!
Location is excellent, staff extremely helpful
Street is noisy at night

Tiny room for the money The building had paint peeling off the walls. Very difficult to locate.
Very nice staff. Excellent value and location. The terrace view to the ocean and promenade cannot be beat (especially when paired with the wine chilled in your room's fridge:-). Website pictures are true depiction of hotel.
Nothing. I will return.
Very helpful and friendly staffs Wonderful location/great view to sea Clean Value for money
Drainage in kitchen and bathroom sink was a bit weak but tolerable.
Good location and nice host.
Furniture could be in better shape. Bath is tiny.
The Cresp is in the heart of Old Nice (Vielle Ville), close to restaurants, shops, and literally across the street from the Cote d'Azur! Helpful staff speak English well and gave us great directions. Would love to stay here again soon!
Smokers on the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea.
The staff was nice at first day till take the payment. But when you have a problem her behaviour was very strange and unfriendly. When we wanted to take a shower we couldn't find hot water therefore we couldn't wash our baby. And when I said that her she answered me " yes it is normal. You should have waited" but I have already waited long time. And she said me "Nobody said me this kind problem before". It means if there is a problem, it is not about her hotel it's related with you. The hotel room's sound isolation was awful. The night life starts at 8 pm infront of the hotel and it continuous till 6 am and than normal day-life starts at 7 a.m. So you can't sleep because of noise. In addition, we hired two rooms but our friend's room was so old and bad. The staff said check out time as 12 p.m. so We have known check out time as 12 p.m.but personel came to our door at 11.20 and said with unkind pose " you should have already check out at 11 am". If you want to get in the hotel you need to key because hotel is just one floor in a regular apartment. So we keep the key of our room just five minutes to carry our suitcases because we couldn't manage at first time. The staff came to me I was already waiting to my husband with my baby in the hotel she asked the key, and than she took the key with really really unkind behavior as if I would steal their room!!!!! So if you want to just drink and fun you can try this place. But I can't suggest to anybody.
The location was great, the facilities were good allowing for the mezzanine floor. Staff was super helpful and friendly.
Wifi was not the greatest, as the hotel was limited on the number of guests who could join the network. Hat some hot water issues.
Loved the owners. They where so helpful and friendly. I loved the fact that we could walk out the front door and instantly be surrounded by open air restaurant s. Very romantic location.
Nothing in the control of the owners but Nice is extremely hard to find free car parking. However we found a huge underground car park to the right of the hotel. Bit pricey but but still this is Nice.
