We do not recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a very low price, minimum comfort and location on the outskirts of Avignon. The bed and linen were worn out and in need of replacement. The cooling was not available until repeated complaints to management. The breakfast was adequate. We mistakenly thought the location was more convient to the Avignon tourist areas. It is not.

We used this Hotel as one of our overnight stops on a ten day road trip and it proved to be perfect for what we wanted, very friendly and helpfull on all levels...

Very thin walls, bathroom floor lifted could not close the door, needs a little tlc.

Room and bathroom clean and good size. Quiet location.

No breakfast included in price. Location is south Avignon and you need car. Parking is easy and free.

Anche se in generale l'hotel mi e' sembrato pulito, ho trovato qualche capello di troppo in bagno e la biancheria del letto non smacchiata benissimo.

Single level, no stairs. Parking very good.

Location, difficult to find, too far from city centre

Motel, not a hotel. All the rooms open directly outside. Large gate secures the parking but anyone can easily walk in through the large hole in the perimeter fence opposite our room door. No staff on site after 11pm, security shared with and based in the nearby Ibis. Old rooms and old fittings, including the locks. Ours was loose and rattly. Room very small, how it can be described as spacious escapes me, and they are all the same size. Even the ones described as "suite" on the crystal website. Hotel misdescribed on it's own website, and the list of facilities and services on Booking.com is inaccurate. Where on eath is the onsite golf course? More seriously, the 24/24 reception? This undermines my confidence in you service. location, I should have known, on the edge of a very big retail park, so no proper restaurants in easy reach. I do not intend to eat at fast food outlets. This was the last straw. Reader, we left.

Room was clean, air conditioned, quiet. Was easy to find my car.

Unless you buy breakfast at hotel, it is almost impossible to get coffee/croissant nearby (location is among a cluster of big box stores.)

Location is good outside the busy city center. Only 10 minutes to Avignon center. Room was comfortable and quiet.

Extremely friendly and helpful receptionist - a real standout in France. The mezzanine/loft would be cute for kids.

As others have noted, it is a little way out from the center. This was fine for me, but will mean a few taxi/parking bills should be taken into account if you want to see the sights.

This is clean, re-done 1960's motel. It was fun. It has a nice garden, and a great vibe. The breakfast is good for the price. The kids at 11 and 13 were too big to share the loft bed, so we booked two rooms for the same price that many of the other places in Avignon charged for one. The rooms have a full bath. The parking is easy, and secure.

There is no fridge in the room, no facilities like hair-dryer (but you can get the latter at the reception upon your request). Very poor breakfast (coffe, biscuits, yougurt).

Hotel like few cottages with view of the garden and small parking area. Stuff are friendly . Rooms are not big but smart build up.

The staff at the Hotel Cristol were excellant, rooms very clean, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was delicious and very good value for money. The only negative is the distance into the city of Avignon however the number 3 bus takes you into the town and for 1.2 euros per trip it is well worth it and it runs every 15 mins. This hotel comes with my highest recommendation.

Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a Flunch about a mile away which is open until 21.30. Quiet and peaceful in the garden

The room was sufficient for 1-2, but maybe not if there were 3 people & bags. Bathroom's small, but fine, good shower. The car parking is good. It is out of town centre but a short drive to free car parking with a free shuttle into town. It is quiet and the garden space is pleasant. The wifi is good. The breakfast is limited to a few cereals, pastries, juice, tea/coffee.

Small rooms ( by north american standards) but price friendly accomodation for visiting the area.10 Minute drive to old city.Staff very helpful.Sparkling clean.
