Grand Hotel Mercure Croisette Beach  

Excelente Room Service!

El personal no era muy agradable.

The best thing about the Croisette Beach hotel was the location. It is close to everything and right on the beach.

I was surprised that this hotel is 4 star while the services should not exceed 2 star. I arrived early at 11am i was told the room will be ready before 3pm, although i am an A club member and a honeymooner, they did not give respect to both and made me wait until 3:30pm for the room to be ready. They even told me the room is ready then when i went up i found out that they are cleaning it. Also on the second day, i left the room early morning for the beach, and left the sign on the door saying "please make my room", when i cam back at 5pm, nothing was done. I was so disappointed from the service in the hotel.

Location, clean rooms

You should be attentive while making payments - the hotel staff was trying to cheat (or made accident mistakes) many times. The prices are too high for this hotel - You can get so much better rooms and location in Cannes for the same price. I'll never stay there again!

The door locking system was not working with the card key and even after 3 days did not succeed to repair it.

Staff extremely hospitable which is an anomaly for french hospitality unless you are paying for it, rooms very clean spacious and rennovated, generous on bathroom supplies and walking distance to shopping district / bars and restaurants one step from Carlton / Intercontinental so location is quite central. Would definitely go back.

The hotel is in an excellent location - just across the road from The Carlton - close to many excellent restaurants and a 1 minute walk to the beach. The rooms on level 5 are newly renovated with very nice bathrooms and a balcony - surprisingly quiet, comfortable and the hotel service polite. A good place to stay if you want the location but not the high prices of the grand hotels on the beach front.

The superior room was very comfortable and the hotel is quite new.

My room was not ready when I arrived. I assume that this is due to August being the busiest time.

Super location just few steps away from Croisette bwd and the beach. Decent room (size, quality, etc). Awailability of parking. All major spots in Cannes are within walking distance.

Just minor things which are probably worse in other place but nothing to do: (1) Private beach (very crowded) 22 Euro per person, (2) Parking 20 Euro per day, (3) got my car back from the garage with a big palm size dent (вмятина) - waiting now for avis invoice...

very poor, rooms rejigged with stud walls, corridors like warrens, 3 different tiles in bathroom poor refurbs. Poor quality and vale for breackfast. Luxury price poor standard would not recommend
