Le Crystal    

This is an original Art Deco style hotel with loads of character. The room was small but comfortable with the bonus of a large balcony window opening out over the courtyard. The outdoor courtyard lovely and restful. The owner was delightful, very friendly and always helpful. The location is excellent, a very short walk from the train station. Situated off the Main Street down a covered walkway it is quiet but at the same time right in the heart of the vibrant bars and restaurants. We loved our stay here!

Nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom.

Nice to stay in a 'classic' hotel, very convenient central location.

The staff was great . Location was perfect less than five minute walk to train station. Charming courtyard and the city restaurants were very good. Shopping great and champagne area within walking distance.

The location was great. Handy to restaurants and night life, but set in far enough you did not hear the noise. The patio setting was beautiful. One cannot do anything about the size of the room in an old hotel. The did what they could to make it comfortable and if there was a problem they we on it immediately. Staff friendly and helpful

Location and price

Great location in the centre of Reims but secluded and quiet with a courtyard garden. Parking in the public car park opposite is easy to find and the hotel can offer a discounted rate. The rooms are small but comfortable and the staff are welcoming.

Could be slightly better value given the size of the rooms. Fair value though.

Location, beautiful gardens to sit in and relax with a drink at the end of the day. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with a large bathroom.

The room was a little hot at night so we needed to leave the air conditioner on

This was a great suprise! Quaint, comfortable and beautiful. The hotel was in a great location off a pedestrian street. It was close to several restaurants and local attractions. A great find!

They should give directions to the public parking minutes from the front door

It was fairly easy to find. Parking subterranean very good. after the visit easy to exit the city cathedral magnificent hotel gardens very nice like to visit in the summer when it is possible to eat petit dejeuner outside but hotels public spaces nice

City itself not very nice decor. in the rooms a bit dated needs new carpets and decor!!!

Well positioned for the centre of the city. Good access to bars and restaurants.

Very difficult for unloading luggage great hostility form neighbouring businesses at people parking to unload luggage before moving to car parks. If disable or any mobility problems forget it not accessible.

Easy access from Hotel on foot to city centre. Great choose of restaurants and shops. Easy short drive to Ay for champagne tasting. Lovely friendly Hotel, would definately go back.

Easy access to Christmas Market

Walls so thin you could hear every snore in next room. Smoking allowed in rooms and seeps into hall and other rooms. Heater not working well.

Small, friendly, family owned/run. Very convenient for centre of Reims. Always stay en-route to Alps. Set back from the main pedestrian street so sheltered from street noise. Rooms small but adequate. En-suite. Walls a little thin so if noisy room neighbours you can hear them, but for us location wins out.

We stayed on the third floor and there was no water pressure, so we showered with a thread of water.

The location was great in the main street of Reims and close to the station. The staff were good and helped us book a couple of champagne cave tours. The breakfast was great.

Bathroom was small

As many others have said, you just can't beat the location. It's perfectly situated in the middle of the pedestrian area with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. Parking was easy in the public parking lot underneath the main street. The hotel will give you a special parking ticket for reduced pricing. The hotel itself is fine. It's not fancy but, it was clean. The front desk staff spoke good English and were helpful. The room is small, the bathroom is small but, the price is small too! Beautiful courtyard out front- Yes, we would stay here again.

For the money, we feel like everything was as expected.
