Location, staff, affordable. The reception was friendly and polite.

Floor was not clean. So were windows. Bathroom stank on one occasion. Noise of Buses with engines running outside the hotel 24 x 7 (I was in a room facing the street). Broken window handle. Only one bedside lamp functioned. Can not switch off the main lamp from Bed. And so on.

Absolutely nothing.

The entrance of the room entered directly into the toilet. Yes toilet. Never have we encountered such in all our travels.No door on toilet into room. On arrival our room was occupied by someone . The next room offered,did not have a key.The third room offered was on 4th floor.....NO Lift. They said "Booking .com" know about the lift. Important in travel these days Wi Fi. They do not have Wi Fi even in foyer/entrance.Manager sleeps on floor in dining room.This place should be Inspected immediately. The floor in room was filthy. I have photos of all that I have described. Which I will gladly upload.

The room was on the 6th floor ... and there was no lift The shower cubicle had no door or curtain There was no stand for the shower head - you had to hold it up with your own hand in order to have a shower

Cheap and very convenient for the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est. It suited my two nights stay in Paris while I visited London via Eurostar. There was very little noise and plenty of hot water.

Room was bare and I inviting. My room was on the top floor, six floors up but actually on the seventh floor of the building. Access was by a spiral staircase and there was no lift. I am fit and could manage easily , but I passed older people on the stairs who were having much trouble with the ascent. The area around the Gare de l'Est is rather seedy and grubby. I would not take my wife there but would use the hotel again because it is reasonably priced. An average three star hotel nearby was about four times the price.

No Lift and winding staircase very inconvenient & scary .....very noisy ambiance .... bathroom too close to the bed.....too much noise from the bathroom drain pipe. Hotel not worth recommending to anyone.

We reached hotel by 10.00pm and the receiptionist wouldn't open the door! He just said "Go away, we are full"! This, when we had confirmed booking. We managed to speak to him and get into the Hotel only to find out that our room was in 4th Floor and the only way to go to the room is through a small spiral staircase. We had to carry our luggage all the 4 floors. The towels were not fresh and the room was dingy! I will not stay in this hotel for a million dollars!

No Elevator facility... had to bring up and down my heavy luggage to 4th floor.

Close to metro station Gare de l'Est, which provide quick access to all tourist destinations.

Very noisy hotel. Though the window was closed, you could hear the buses stopping and leaving the bus station in front of the hotel during the whole night. Moreover, there is no elevator and it is almost impossible to reach the upper floors with your luggage.

location, staff Our room was furnished reasonably and in modern style. Staff was very friendly and even though there wasn´t lift which wasn´t a big problem for us because we stayed on second floor.

Smelly room and bathroom. Very noisy. The bedsheets and towels were unclean and after requesting other ones, they were the same. The door could hardly be locked. The parking nearby is 30 Euros/day, although the hotel mentions it is 20 Euros/day. You'd better choose a hotel that is 100 Euros/night and has parking included in the price, than this one.

Only the location being close to Gard E`st Metro Station.Food and beverages are closer.

There is no lift in the hotel and I got a room on the 6th Floor! There is no fire exit as the hotel is make shift of an old house.It is very dangerous to stay there.Towels are very dirty.Internet is not free.

even they don;t have elevator, and I stay at the 2nd floor, I could manage to go up as a senior in my age. The room is quit small, but you only need to sleep. The location was important, and the surrounding area have the the location.
