Smell of sewerage
the location is good
They do not have my booking from of booking.com. Luckily, they still have extra room. It is said it is very close to Gare du Nord. Actually it is very close to Gare de L'est
I believe that the problem was the booking because two reservation was made and the consequence payment, i didn't like, but y think that the problem is the organization of the booking and i'm not satisfied of pay twice by the reservation.
The location was great for the gare du nord! It was a cheap booking, and the beds were surprisingly comfy!
We got a very cheap deal so we're not expecting much, however as sharing with 2 others,I at least expected a door on the bathroom! There wasn't even a privacy curtain, all open! Terrible! And shower was freezing!
- central location
- owner unfriendly and overruling helpful staff - no wifi - room partially dirty and not even cleaned after complaints - strong smoke-smell of the room - building under renovation with noisy workers
near to metro
hotel was horrible and not as described on the site.the wifi is not in the rooms only in reception there is no english channel on tv not even subtitles, no drink facilities and we had a rat box behind the toilet, the cleanliness was awful, bed bugs on the bed, so not worth the money we paid and the site didnt say it was a 1 star it doesnt warrant a 1 star either!!
Dodgy area, dirt under the bed, careless staff. Booked 3 nights, checked in at 2pm, by 6pm canceled the last 2 as I found another much better hotel and area for the same price but they still charged me full for the 2nd night. You must have extremely low standards to find this hotel even ok! The communal area is being redecorated but it will take much more than a new carpet and freshly painted walls in the corridors to make an alright place to stay!
Place is very congested , no kitchen ..these two are disappointed
Very good location for stations and city transport. Many restaurants nearby in varying price ranges.
No lift or air conditioning
Rooms was small and toilet dosnt had a door duvet was dirty . Hotel dosnt have lift so you have to clime the stares to room wich was on the six floor. As they say no charge till you arive it was false when we came the money was all ready tooked day before we arrive.i would not go back there
Next to transport station and plenty of food outlet options around the area.
Very small and tight shower area.
Proximity to Gare D'est
Dark entrance through littered alley, no lit signage on hotel, scruffy reception, scaffolding and renovations being done. Room up spiral stairs on 5th floor no lift, changed to newly renovated room on 1st floor when threatened to leave. Money already taken on card. No plugs in the room or air-con so had to open windows to noise throughout the night and thumping music from floors above.
The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The hotel is located to a central road with easy access to metro and buses. if you're just looking for a place to spend the night for a reasonable price, it's ideal! Also, it's being renovated and it's going to be really nice when it will be finised!
However, it was too noisy so if you want to have a good night sleep, i would't recomend it!
Absence of lift
the location is good. very close to the subway station and train station.
the breakfast is poor. the room is a little old.
Location to train station
Hotel under construction. builders and painters everywhere. No elevator and room on 5th floor. No wifi in rooms. No tv or hair dryer as advertised. hotel entrance via alleyway.
Grubby, small, loud
Close to the gare and to the metro
Bathroom was not clean. There is no elevator. Floor was dirty. Not recommended for people with children. The price is too expensive for the quality of the room.
I think this hotel is not good, very bad service, the reception is not friendly. We travelled with one baby 1 year old and he need milk every day. We had milk but the hotel have not bridge in the room, we had to leave milk, food of baby to staff and they keep everything in the bridge in the kitchen but we can not follow to the kitchen, we had to put everything in the big packet and when we need to use they give back whole the packet and it was very difficult to ask to keep back again, the reception show that they were not satify to service us. We think that we paid for the room, it was not free. The room is so much hot, can not sleep...
Location. Near supermarket and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Wifi signal good in public areas.
No elevator, stairs very uncomfortable. Entrance not very clear. No wifi in rooms.
paper thin walls, smelled like dirty feet, constantly finding my window open even after closing and locking it, only one outlet in the room, not allowed to take your room key when you leave, WiFi is only available by the front desk, breakfast is one croissant and powder coffee, entrance is located in a dark ally, there is multiple building code violations, there is no hot water,TV remote does not work on any of the TVs (it is a box of random remotes behind the desk); The worst part was when I caught a random guy trying to come in to my room through the window by scaffolding outside.
Everything. It was dirty and made us uncomfortable. I wouldn't let my family stay in that hotel. We left. Very last resort stay.
Close to train station.
The neighborhood smelled like like pee as you walk down the street. The hotel rooms have bed bugs. It is not a clean hotel. The cleaning lady did not even try to move the dirty sheets that were in the hall way so we could pass. There was also mold on the mattress and cigarette burns on the comforters. The pillows didn't have cases and were stained yellow and brown. I could keep going. Do not stay at this hotel WiFi works only downstairs in the breakfast room.
