excellent 3 stars! close to train station & center, on a quite street, big and clean room and bathroom, wifi working perfectly, very friendly and ready-to-help stuff (they recommended us some non-touristic places to eat and all of them very really great), good breakfast. would recommend & stay again.

The rooms are really old and dated. Also very noisy.

Very close to the centre ville train station (5 minute walk) Inside the walled part of the city so you can really walk to see everything.

Wi-fi reception very poor, dropping in and out. This is my only complaint but as i am booking all my planning my trip as I go this becomes a very big deal.

We really liked the location of this hotel to the city activities in the old city. Staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and other questions we had.

Very good hotel for it's price - clean, comfortable and quiet. Our room has large bathroom (at least in number 20). Car parking in the yard is also a big plus.

Parking is closed after 22:00. It's rather strange rule because reception works 24/7.

Close to the city historical center, private parking. The Internet was working well.

The price was too big for what it offered, the room had basic utilities and it was a little cold (we were there in January).

Hotel d'Angleterre is located 300m far from Gare Avignon (Train Station), is inside the City Walls, walking distance from all city attractions (Palais des Papes, St Bénezét Bridge, restaurants, pubs etc etc). Perfect if have a car: there is a free parking (always with free places during our stay). Good to be used as base to explore Provence Region. Staff is friendly, available to answer questions about Avignon/Region. Hotel is quiet, clean, simple but comfortable, has elevator and breakfast is good (very good strong French press coffee). Good quality for the value paid.

This hotel is a very good affordable choice in Avignon. Nothing to criticize.

Front desk staff were excellent and very helpful at every opportunity. My French is passable but the hotel staff always offed in both languages as an obvious courtesy. They couldn't do enough to be accommodating. Great attitude.

Old building so noise carried, but for the price this should be assumed.

This lovely hotel is located on a sycamore lined street within the city walls. We received very good service at the reception.We had a nice room with a very good shower.Our room had a large window that opened up to an outside large patio (rooftop) with a lovely view. We accessed this patio via doors from the hall & we had our lunch at a table out here. This hotel does have a lift.

Sheets were damp horrible smell as a result. The sink was blocked which made it very un hygienic. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I thought I should this time .even though you don't expect much of a two star hotel you expect it to be clean that's all. This one was horrible .
