Staff were very helpful and friendly, location in old town is great.
The efficient but unfussy approach of the staff.
Friendly, really helpful staff, tolerant of my French. If you are from the uk remember that the french keyboard is different from the uk'S. So beware if you use ^digits to input (password) symbols!!
The Mistral blew for two days but this was October and not their fault
Location was great, inside the walls of the Old Town, a short walk to the main street leading to the Palace of the Popes. Secure, off-street parking.
It is a typical English-style hotel, with small rather cramped room and bathroom.
reasonably close to train and walking distance to sites. Friendly staff on desk etc.
There was a fair variety for breakfast though the room was small and we often had to wait for a table to be reset. Some staff were helpful but others not. Good secure parking available.
Reception staff attitude was often very offhand and difficult to get them to speak English despite the name of the hotel! Our 'superior' room was small and rather shabby.
Lovely pireod house with very friendly and warm staff just minuets from the city center. Will Stay again one day!
The location away from the bustle and yet accessible to transport links and all the interesting parts of this lovely town. On our first visit we had a room with a lovely terrace. It was not available on our next visit, but still the room had a nice outlook. Very good value.
There was nothing I didn't like .
Quiet location. Friendly staff.
Parking on site Breakfast was good Location was great, had a lift
Bed wasn't as comfortable as I like
Excellent location to the town's facilities
Seemed a long walk with cases, but wasn't. A quiet area, no late night noises. Near to restaurants and Tourist Office etc. Room ample and terrace was a surprise. Reception would make a hot drink at night. An old building that had a warm welcome inside.
Perfect position and good that it had secure parking
Location, easy to walk into Avignon and to the local train.
Room very small, bathroom needed maintenance, breakfast expensive.
It is close to restaurants, just in the center of the city and just some minutes walking to the train station.
There is no shower only a bathtub ... So it is very uncomfortable to take a shower.
Quiet neighbourhood close to all attractions. Free use of computor and printer. Large breakfast room.
Rooms could be more soundproof.
The position was very good, very accessible to the historical centre of Avignon; the street was quiet and there were good restaurants nearby. It was within easy walking distance of the railway station.
The staff were unresponsive to queries, and disinterested. Despite the advertised availability of wi-fi it did not work consistently or reliably.
Great location close to everything.very quiet. Bed comfortable. Good shower.value for money.
Staff were very disinterested in acknowledging us when handing keys in. Wifi very unreliable. Rooms tired.
Convenient for public transport use and tourist sites. Staff helpful and courteous
No drinks available either in foyer or room Hard small uncomfortable pillows Limited choice available for breakfast -not included in tariff
Location is great, close to center, train station, museums, tourist center, it is inside the walls of the old city.
The beds were not at all comfortable, it seemed that the mattress was covered with a thick plastic that was making a big noise when turning. During the night I could hear the person’s next room snoring. Our window was opening to anther rooms’ terrace so we were just intruding into their privacy or the other way around. Out of all 5 or 6 hotels that we stayed between Sept 9 and Sept 21, 2014 ( in the 5 cities that we visited) it was the only one that did not clean the room while we were away.
The location was unbeatable and the free parking was perfect - could not find anything similar in the rest of the city. The parking lot is protected and has a lift that goes up to the room levels.
The hotel felt budget as the room was sparsely furnished, dark, and the wifi intermittent. The person that checked us in was very Unhelpful but the checkout receptionist was considerably more pleasant. The beds were not comfortable and the shower was missing a liner so water got everywhere.
Very good location -only 3 blocks from main street- about 15-20 stroll to the Palais of Popes. Free Wifi worked great Free Parking in back if you drive there Nice breakfast buffet included Nice shared patio Staff VERY helpful.and pleasant with good English.
Rooms very small. Ours have a tub with handheld so a bit more difficult to "shower) as no Shower curtain. Had to call for hair dryer - and then go down to get it.
Secure parking and close proximity to good restaurant on Avenue de la Republique.
Room on the small side, but ok for a couple of nights.
Location was not so far from Railroad Station and Downtown Avignon
An hotel from the 80's, 30 years later... old, grim and uncomfortable They even tried to make me pay more than Booking's price!
