Vibrant location with a classy place for solitude at the end of the day. Not a stuffy 5 star hotel, but an elegant 4 star that is small enough to meet individuals needs. I'd stay here again. Great room and bathroom along with Hermes products. Free wifi worked fine.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, in particular the front desk and concierge service. We arrived some hours before our scheduled check- in time, expecting to leave our bags and return later in the day. We were pleasantly surprised when we were invited to have a coffee in the lounge while we waited just ten minutes for our room to be available. Our room was large by Paris standards and overlooked a pretty private courtyard. The room and bathroom were well equipped, attractively decorated and spotlessly clean. Hermes toiletries and fresh flowers added a special touch. The dining and lounge areas were very welcoming with attractive furnishings, high ceilings and an inviting atmosphere. The bar areas, both outdoor and indoor had a fabulous atmosphere and the free jazz of an evening was fabulous! We loved being able to enjoy a drink and the music both before going out to dinner and upon returning later in the evening. Hotel d'Aubusson is tucked away on the quieter Rue Dauphine and within walking distance of the main sights of Paris. A short walk to the relaxing Seine in one direction and the vibrant Boulevarde Saint Germain in the other, and surrounded by fabulous brasseries, market stalls and boutiques, this hotel is in a fantastic location. Outstanding staff, a welcoming atmosphere and extremely comfortable rooms make this hotel a brilliant find. An option for a continental breakfast, rather than a full English breakfast, would be an asset, but there are numerous cafes within very close proximity, where lighter breakfasts are readily available.

The bottom floor, including the courtyard, is historic, charming and comfortable. It also has the best wifi signals for catching up with email. The breakfast is in a lovely room and was good. The location is great for sight seeing or shopping. The room and bathroom are a comfortable size. The employees are friendly. We loved the neighborhood. We had the Jr. Suite which was billed as "view of the street or the courtyard". On the 4th floor we saw neither. I believe we were on the back side of the hotel. We were unable to see anything remotely attractive, mostly various unattractive roof areas.Room service was very inconsistent. The coffee/tea machine, which takes "pods" was never refilled unless requested. Used glasses were never replaced in our 4 night visit. We received the free wifi poorly in our room. This is an expensive hotel. These concerns make it challenged to be 4 stars to us even though we liked a great many things about the hotel.

the hotel was perfect in just about every respect.the location is fantastic, the rooms spacious (by european standards), and the service can't be topped. we thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. the only downside was the cost of the breakfast buffet, but we found several, more reasonable alternatives within a block or 2.

A relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful Grand salon with roaring open fire and live jazz music playing in the background. Attentive, friendly staff. Very quiet at night considering the location, very good insulation.Fantastic Hermes toiletries supplied in the bathroom. Breakfast was not good value for money.

The staff was extremely friendly and the location was perfect! We wanted to see the Notre Dame and the Louvre. We also enjoyed some special shops located on the same street as the hotel-----especially the hat shop! The staff helped us by ordering taxis for us, contacting our tour guides and made recommendations to us for restaurants that were great. Would stay there again! My daughter's corner room was quite chilly, and the hostess who explained to us how the bathtub worked failed to mention how to operate the heater in the bathroom, so we had a cold awakening our first morning! (We were there during a very cold streak of weather.) However, after the first morning we figured it out. Would suggest that they get some take-away cups for guests to take a coffee with them as they leave the breakfast area--jetlag provided a need for lots of coffee, and we didn't want to sit too long at breakfast and waste our day. Other than that, everything was delightful.

I was only at the hotel for one night, but I have been meening to stay there for quite some time. The hotel has a warm friendly feel with wonderful common areas. The bar and lounge areas are intimate and inviting, especially the fire place. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is one of my favorite areas on the left bank, very vibrant, with plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The Odeon Metro stop (Line 4) is about a five minute walk. The pillows were a bit thin and a little too firm for my liking, but all in all the room was very comfortable, with a lot of space for Partis standards.

The hotel was great! The well-preserved building and the magnificant lounge with the fireplace. Rooms were of reasonable size (which, for Paris, should be considered big). Staff was courtious. Despite other reviews we read, we were pleasently surprised by the 25Eur buffett breakfast. This is a pricy option for special occasions (or for those who are not worried about prices).

The best attribute of The Hotel D'Aubusson is its location. We took the Air France shuttle bus into the City (Gare de Lyon) as it was right outside our arrivals at exit 34 and we wanted to view our journey, it cost €33 for 2 persons and we then had to take a taxi to hotel @ €8.70. On our return as planned we took the rer b back to the airport,a pleasant 6 minute walk along the Seine to the rer b from Hotel D'Aubusson where you can take direct train to airports. €18.50 for 2 persons one way. This was by far the fastest and cheapest way to travel into the city. It took approx 40 minutes and another 10 mins on shuttle bus to Terminal 1. The Louvre is within walking distance from hotel. The Hop on hop off bus and boat trip are within a 5 mins walk to hotel both on Seine. Hotel D'Aubusson very expensive for breakfast but there are cafes on every corner to choose from. Cafe Paul is perfect for breakfast or coffee any time of day and it is only around the corner by the St. German flower market. The staff of the hotel are of 5* star standard. I would definitely recommend this Hotel and would stay again if I return to Paris. The room was a little small but fine for a couple of days. No tea coffee making facilities.

Very pretty hotel with lovely lounge. Ideal location for Notre Dame and surrounds, and for Germaine des Pres cafes. Bad first night as boiler or car park extractor fan was right next to our back wall. We were dog tired the next day - our only full day in Paris. We were upgraded at no extra charge but the damage was done. They have some very nice rooms, but you had better get one of those, and that means about 650-700 euros per night, and make sure you are far from that boiler/extractor fan, and that means third floor or above.

We especially liked the interior courtyard and the cozy living room - both good places for a glass of champagne. The room was also wonderfully spacious, and on quiet Rue Christine. We couldn't ask for a nicer experience or location.

The staff was very helpful and spoke perfect English. The hotel offered amenities such as free wi-fi, a lobby bar and restaurant, and room service that many other hotels in the neighborhood do not. Plus the location is wonderful--close to many museums, restaurants, and shops.

“We have stayed there many times, and will continue to choose Relais Christine. It is a stylish hotel with one of the prettiest entrances, very comfortable rooms, welcoming lounge with drinks to choose. Breakfast in the fascinating vaulted cellar has very good choice. Staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. This would stem from the attentive attitude of the Manager. I can think of nothing to say in answer to "What didn't you like about Relais Christine" ! It is a delight in every way. ” Janet, London |
