Good location, close to the RER (train station) and not far from areas like St.Germain-des-Pres etc. Room was comfortable, large and quiet. Nice breakfast with relatively good selection for a Paris hotel. Staff friendly and very helpful. Female visitors (like myself) would of course appreciated a proper hairdryer in the bathroom (the room only had an old-fashioned, not very effective one). A proper full-length mirror in the room would also have been useful... |

Excellent location, staff, and cost (through booking.com). Staff was always very helpful. Public areas nicely done and well maintained. Remodeled bathroom was a good size, particularly for Europe. Separate toilet closet. Rugs and rooms need refurbishing. Rugs were dirty and patched. Closet needed more or better hangers. Bed was comfortable, but furniture looked worn. However all basics were there: two night tables with good bed lights for reading, desk with chair and another arm chair. For Europe room size was adequate. As we were not in the room much, the positives far outweighed the negatives. |

We likes the location of the hotel and its vicinity to the Musee d'Orsay. It was quiet, the metro easy to reach. The welcome at the reception was very laconic, just handing over the key. |

The amenties, location, staff & history - we felt very comfortable & will return :-) We loved France & Hotel d'Orsay. (Have not read any guest reviews but they must be favourable or the people were hard to please). |

Closed to the metro station. Old building, small room but renovated. A bit too expensive for us. |

We think the location is excellent. We usually stay at the Cercle Militaire on Place St. Augustine, so closer access to rive gauche areas is nice. Getting a bit shopworn, carpets dirty in common areas and in room, some damage to moulding, other fixtures. |

The location was the best thing about this hotel. Our room was really small, with a small tv tucked into the closet. The carpet and bedding felt old and worn. |

I was very pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms and the quality of service we received. Although a 3-star hotel, the service and room facilities were more like a 4-star hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, albeit in a traditional style and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel courtyard could be made into a better and more functional terrace for guests to use instead of leaving it to look overgrown and wild. There is no parking at the hotel and nearby spaces are always taken. |

Location was great - one block from Musee d'Orsay and right across the Seine from the Louvre. The room and bathroom were clean and large enough for luggage and people. The staff was wonderful - very accomodating and helpful. And the price was right. Better to try for an interior room - not located on the street side. It was a bit noisy due to motorcyles and trucks early in the morning as is typical in a large city. The noise is louder in the narrow street as it bounces off tall buildings. But nothing against this hotel. |

We liked everything about it. Especially the location where we could go to all famous places of Paris by walking and the rate we payed for such a comfortable and clean room which was equal to a 4 star hotel. No there was nothing I did not like, but only would prefer a better breakfast room perhaps with a view and window. |

When we arrived the staff advised that that there is no confirmation of our stay (we asked twin room + extra bed) and they sent an Email saying that. But we didn't received it. But after short conversation they checked something and gave us the room for one night and then extended it to our whole 4 night stay! And the room they gave was an upgrade of the room we booked! The hotel is very good situated very near from main attractions on a quiet street. Very good value for money! |

The hotel is located in a wonderful area of Paris, close (generally walking distance) to tourist attractions and reasonably priced eating establishments, but not in a high priced, crowded tourist area. The lobby and rooms are attractive and well maintained. |

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel d'Orsay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was large and clean. In addition, its' location is so convenient that it's perfect whether you want to walk around the city or take public transportation. The next time we're in Paris we plan on staying here again. The carpet in the hallways should probably be replaced. |
