Internet was very slow. Not able to connect. Very small room
Too popular to reserve the hotel more than one night!
Good location. Large, quiet and bright room. Friendly staff. I like the desk in the room.
It is a typically old-fashioned small Parisian hotel. The bedroom could do with being redecorated. The bathroom didn't feel / smell very clean. There was no shower, only a shower head fixed to the bath taps and no curtain. Only real option is to have a bath.
Location - Vavin is always a nice area to stay in Paris. The hotel was quiet. The bed, though narrow, was fine.
Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff
No bad experience
Very friendly staff. Nice room, great location. Would recommend it highly
The Room was too small
Would prefer a regular stand up shower to the hand held version on offer
Friendly and helpful staff (and they speak English) Quiet neighbourhood Comfortable beds
No mini bar for chilling any of your own drinks or fresh creamy cakes from the beautiful patisseries! No tea and coffee faculties in room No proper shower head. They have shower hose attachment style ones on the taps.
Location-close to metro and lots of cafes and restaurants and lovely boulangeries!
Location Friendliness of Staff
I'd give the location probably about an 8 out of 10. There are many cute places to eat and bars nearby. It is also located by 2 metro lines (the 4 and 12) which was highly convenient. We did feel like we took the metro almost everyday to get to where we were going so perhaps if we choose a different area next we'd stay closer to Notre Dame or the Louvre. If you stay at this hotel, buy the navigo decouverte for public transportation if you're staying 1 week or longer- great value! $25.40 Euro. Also, the housekeepers only speak French as a heads up.
The staff in the lobby was extremely friendly and speak many languages including English. The rooms are small, but they are everywhere in Paris. The bed was comfortable and the room was enough space for 2 people. We never heard our neighbors and the hotel was full. Book this hotel fast, it only has 15 rooms and is a better value than many other 3 star hotels.
no drink facilities in the rooms
nice area with lots of bars, restaurants and the park all close by
Design and furnitures (beside the bed) feel a bit 90's. Beers in the minibar were out of date.
Central location. Good bed. Nice French breakfast with hearty rations. Clean bathroom with L'Occitane amenities.
Small rooms, even the luxury suite. Twin beds touched as room so small. Breakfast limited to pastries and coffee/juice. Tiny lift takes two with small luggage or three normal sized people at a push.
Air con. Close to restaurants but away from crowds. Spoke English. Lift, as 5 floors high. Close to metro and walking distance to many places if fit to walk.
Was told breakfast was included with our room the first night and it was not. the 2 hour parking was a bit of a hassle but not the fault of the hotel.
Decor, friendliness of staff, within walking distance to most places (by our opinions). Loved the neighborhood, the room was compact, but it's european, so no worries. Loved the fact that the bath was attached and not communal.
Location in proximity of park and metro, food nearby (Panini place 50m away is a great cheap eat and heaps of patisseries around the area) The staff organised airport shuttle for us too.
Lack of proper shower was very challenging. Lift was very small
Location was great, close to transport & restaurants. Staff were friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean.
Air cond was stopped during the night. Kind if over priced
Front desk girl during week end
Excellent location. Very good and helpful staff - cheers !
super helpful and friendly staff
The dining room was a little bit stuffy but it was bearable. The breakfast was average.
Nice comfortable little room. Nice bathroom. Helpful and friendly staff.
The disco nearby was so loud Saturday night that even with earplugs we could feel the decibels vibrating through our bed, pillow, etc. There was nothing to dislike about the hotel itself
The bed was very nice - not too hard like many we encounter in Europe. The small number of rooms made the hotel feel much more boutique-like. The room we took was the one along the back of the hotel (each floor has three) which had a more interesting layout
Lift was in repair.
Close to a Metro station and good Restaraunts.
small room, aircon wasn,t working ( told it was to early in the year) consequently room very warm o/night and too noisy for open window. shower head had no holder ie soap first then rinse ? other guests noisy early hours . overall not a bad place to stay but incredibly expensive for what it is.
location,near to metro and sights.
Perfect location, nice staff
Very friendly staff Smart decor Very comfortable quiet rooms Great bars, restaurants and garden very close Great metro and RER connections
