Hôtel d'Angleterre Champs Elysee  

Natürlich die Lage, nur kurzer Spaziergang zu den Champs Elysées, und damit verbunden gute Metro-Anschlüsse Kleine Rezeption, aber sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter

Das Haus ist ein bisschen "abgewohnt", und augenblicklich wird renoviert, sodass es an Wochentagen Arbeitslärm gibt. Zu solchen Zeiten müsste man auch die Preise noch ein bisschen reduzieren. Statt Air-Condition nur Ventilator im Zimmer, und Ventilatoren sind bekanntlich nicht allzu leise. Die Gänge (und auch die Zimmer) würden neue Tapeten vertragen, auf den Gängen ist dies, denke ich, bei den Renovierungsarbeiten ohnehin geplant

The staff were not trained to answer simple questions they sent us on a wild and expensive goose chase to the antique market, by the way, it is only open Saturday, Sunday and Monday ! The room is very small, no fridge, noisy, from the street below, especially with the window open and the bin men emptying the bins early morning. Lift very small and for 150 euros a night, expensive for what you get. If going to Paris again, which is lovely, would choose somewhere else to stay !!!

Excellent location for the Paris marathon and very good that we could use the hotel after the marathon even though the book out times had passed.

My room was on 3rd floor facing the street..very noisy. Room a bit small.

- Position (5 minutes walking from Champs Elysee) - the bathroom that was new!

- The room was too hot, no possibility to switch the heater off

A small, clean hotel with a very good location, with nice freindly staff.

The shower and the basin were not clear, so I asked the reception to maintain it well, also the room telephone was out of order. But once I asked to repair them it was done. But it should have been done and maintained with my remarks.

I didnt find anything to like it about this hotel except the location for the hotel.

Room so small, lift hardly fit for one adult and two luggages. Drain not working well

Terrible facade. Terrible reception area. Old rooms are a complete disaster and have a very foul smell. The renovated rooms are nice by comparison. But the soundproofing is inexistent. The wi-fi is erratic. The elevator is tiny. Ands the windows open up on to the exhaust fumes of a Chinese restaurant.

No warning in the website about construction going we were probably the only people in the hotel, the bathroom was small and very hard to get in and out of the shower cabin. Did not live up to website photos. We should be entitled to a refund!

The hotel was under restructuring and so the infrastructures were not so good. But the staff and the cleanings are really good. Mainly the position is perfect, directly on Champs Elysee

Hotel did not mention it was having a major refurbishment so very unwelcoming to see the hotel with tarpaulin and peeling wallpaper etc. Was probably the most noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in, I think the builders was staying in the room above, very very noisy at all hours so not impressed at all. However, the room we were in was quite nice, and considering the level of noise did sleep quite well.

The room was the smallest room I have seen in my life. Also it was not the same picture in booking.com the hotel cheated us. Moreover they were working in the hotel corridor and driling in the wall so we did not sleep for 3 nights!!!!!!. The lift was very small الفندق سيء جدا جدا والصور اللي في موقع بوكينق غير عن الواقع يعني الصور اللي في الموقع نصب !!!

free wifi keeps on disconnecting all the time needs renovation (they were working on some floors) tiny lift, barely could get there with the bags no concierge service, had to move my bags by myself no place to drop off from the taxi, had to rush cuz the road is tight.

The only advantage of this hotel is its location. I'll recommend it only to those looking for a budget hotel with a good location.

The hotel and the room looks old and run-down. The shower cubicle in the washroom is too small.
