After reading several of the reviews on booking.com, I was somewhat hesitant to book here. But have stayed at another property on Rue Dauphine & thought I'd see for myself.I Can only say,my stay here was nothing short of perfection. The front desk staff were all so courteous,& helpful. The room was decorated beautifully.I Had a superior double,& while the room was small; the bed was a large Queen size & very comfortable! It faced a courtyard; very quiet! The marble bathroom was quite large by European standards.Good lighting& a full length mirror;great tub/shower combo.Good hair dryer & large makeup mirror. The street is a real Parisian neighborhood & very close to Metro Odeon.I Stayed an extra night. Would have stayed an extra week! I will definitely be back! There is a single armoire; hanging on one side ,shelves on the other. No other drawer space to speak of. On two of my nights,I could hear the couple in the room next door,so perhaps, some sound proofing might be advisable.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The rooms are fair sized by central Parisian standards. All in all a very nice hotel and I look forward to going back.

Excellent service: I foolishly left some valuables in the room when we departed, the hotel staff had already found them by the time I got home and they efficiently and securely posted them to me.

The location of Dauphine Saint Germain is great for sightseeing in Paris. It is near the river and the metro stop. The staff is available all hours and are polite and helpful. They printed boarding passes for our flight, gave prompt wake up calls and arranged a taxi to the airport. The internet was free and a clear connection. There are many restaurants and small boutiques within walking distance.

We loved the location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially because it was our first visit to Paris, we were appreciative of their extra help. The rooms were clean and decorated with antiques. We loved our cozy rooms on the sixth floor. The McDonalds

The location of this Hotel was great, Just around the corner from a good secure carpark, a very short walk from The Seine, and only minutes from both The Louvre and Notre Dame. Lots of touristy restaurant choices nearby, fewer choices if you wanted a menu different from all of the others! The reception staff were cheerful and good humoured. The rooms are SMALL - we paid for a Superior Double, and were shocked at how tiny the room was. We were in room 56 on the fifth floor facing the courtyard. It was a little dark but the size was almost inadequate much of the 'space' being taken with a passageway to the minute bathroom. It was not possible to bend to brush your teeth with the door closed!! The gap between sink and wall/door was just 12-15 inches! The weather was unseasonably warm during our March stay and the room was 27deg when we returned on our first night as the AC was not working. We slept with the window open so were glad of being on the fifth floor and facing the courtyard to avoid being disturbed by noise. On the second night the AC was working and had chilled our room rather too much!! I felt the price we had paid, including the extra for the upgrade to a Superior room was high for the size of the room, but it was clean and well located.

Hotel staff has been accomodating all our requests in a nice and timely way: loved them. Though the rooms are not big, they are clean and pleasantly furnished. A perfect palce to enjoy a week end in Paris: right in the saint germain movida but still quite and homely. The full price is maybe a bit high compared to other cities, but still good value for money for Paris (web/periodic offers really convenient)

My wife and I and our 3 year old stayed at Dauphine for 5 days it was perfectly located to the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Seine, we even walked to the Arc de Triumphe and back along the Champs de Elysee. Hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast at 12 euros was just right. The room was quite small, which admittedly we were made aware of before our arrival, but immaculately maintained. The bathroom was well appointed and modern. We would have no reservations about staying here again. The restaurants and cafes near the hotel were many and varied. Thank you to all the staff at Dauphine St Germain. The size of the room and the only elevator broke down at one point and always felt like it was ready to give up.

Not much. Other than the location, although we expected the rooms to be small, the facilities were poor and the staff not that friendly. Poor facilities, unfriendly staff and over-rated price.

The hotel is in an excellent location amongst shops and restaurants tourist attractions are close by.Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very clean, but small which I believe is common in Paris. We didn't spend much time in our room so not a problem for us. If you leave the window open it can be noisy but we wanted to be in a busy area so we expected this.
