Very basic single room. Clean and functional. Staff helpful.

No chair, no towel rail, broken mirror, no table of any sort except for small fridge cabinet .

The reception staff was excellent. They were very courteous and helpful in every way possible.

The hotel is in a somewhat rough, but kind, neighbourhood. The multicultural environment offered a great choice of restaurants with food from India, Pakistan, The Middle East, North Africa, etc. Some genuine French food was also available at quite a few restaurants. There were fruit stands that were open until late at night, and plenty of bakeries, where you could buy fresh bread every morning. So reading what I have written, there were not many minuses at all.

The customer service is so exceptional that nothing else matters. Just the best! Yaz, the owner, made our stay in Paris very memorable!! Would recommend the hotel for sure!

The location was great (just 4 mins) walk from Gare de Est (Paris Est). The staff was extremely friendly. There are lots of eating place around. Also, very easy to get to the Eiffel Tower by taking metro train 7 and 9. Direct train to Notre Dame (Train #4). This is worth for the money.

The break fast was okay.. But there was lots of good restaurant around.. no big deal. The lift was tiny.. but it was okay and the staff helped us

Nice location for getting to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est and beyond. Friendly staff. Good value for money room.

You have to hand in your keys whenever you leave. Take a chance on whether you'll have noisy neighbours as the walls are quite thin! Decor could do with a little work to make the stay more comfortable. No air-con.

A 5 star hotel it is definitely not but if the main aim is to explore Paris and you need a cheap hotel to sleep in, it will do(for me anyway). It has a great location, being 5 mins walk from Gare L Est and 10 mins from Gar Du Nord. There are average to good restaurants and coffee-shops within walking distance and even a market and a grocery store nearby. Probably best for young/youngish people on a tightish budget that wants a place to sleep in for the night. The staff were fairly courteous and helpful.

They have a lift good for 3 people with the size of a broom cupboard (and feels like one too) which doesn't give you the best feeling of safety but has done the job to be fair. Otherwise it would have to be the very steep smallish winding stairs up to our room on the third floor. Room is basic and dated with some watermarks on ceiling. Overhead cupboard by the beds with one door missing. There is a tv only of French channels of course! but surprisingly the small beverage cooler works! The toilet is dark and dated with pipes exposed and needs some repainting but otheriwse everything worked well. Definitely not a hotel for the fussy people.

Location within Paris city limits There were no bedbugs or similiar unpleasant roommates Breakfast included in the price for the room

Very small toilet and shower room Not very good neoghbourhood - we have seen the gang fight in the middle of the nearby road intersection There are "paper walls" - e.g. you can clearly hear person calling two floors above you. (or a couple enjoying a sex in the hotel in the middle of the night)

    Nothing in particular

Facilities were unsatisfactory. Only one clothe hanger available. Wall paper peeling off, bad odour in toilet, toilet facilities old and worn down.

Personnel tried to solve all our problems. Close to center - about 15 minutes from hotel till Louvre.

Rooms are small, but that's Paris! And we have a lot of noise from street. Since there is no conditioner you have to adapt to screams of etnic people and cars outside.

The manager was very accommodating after putting us initially in a beyond horrible 'room'. He compensated us by moving us to a much improved room and gave us breakfast on the house all week.

Very noisy on the street side-24 hours of the day. The neighborhood was suspect.

You are in the 10th on St. Denis right in the coolest area of Paris. If you like the East Village in NYC, you'll feel right at home. Great places to eat and drink. Metro stop one block away and it's all walking distance from Gare Du Nord. Friendly English-speaking staff who will help you any way they can. I've been there a few times and will continue to go back.

I just wish they had a coffee maker in the room, but I'll still go back.

Location - very close to a train station, not far away from touristic attraction, nice neighbourhood.

Room (and especially bathroom) was very small. I expected to get more for breakfast. We were supposed to pay extra for continental breakfast but we got complimentary breakfast. However, I'd have rather paid for something more.

    Close to metro

The district is full of black gangs, we don't feel secure Room of my friends (on the second floor) was in really terrible state (renovation is a must), while mine (4th floor) was just fine. Breakfast is poor

Fairly close to Gare Du Nord, convenient for train, metro and bus travel.

Rooms beside the list used by smokers, made it impossible to breathe when getting into/out of the lift.

Good location for a citytrip comfy double bed, mini bar and a bathroom for myself nice staff the room was rather big cfr some other hotels in Paris cleaning ladies: super! Perfect for a short stay

Bathroom is rather old fashion and needs urgently a make over&a showercurtain!! (Cfr the boss they're busy renovating the rooms) really tiny toilet scary elevator central heating you can't control in the room Make sure if you go out&come back during the night; that you knock hard enough on the door/window for someone to come and let you in If you need smth: ask for it (like a hairdryer)

Good location , walking distance to all Attractions!

The lift was very small ! We stayed on 5th floor . The room was just Disgusting! There was dust everywhere! Very dirty. The walls had spots. There was no heating the room was cold! To emphasize that it is still December . The bathroom was appalling, dirty with hulled walls! The shower was broken, the curtain fell. No face cloth! I wish I can upload my pics from this hotel . Only french channels on the tv . Little refrigerator but no plug . Very unhappy waste of money !
